Very little, if you know Tone, his glare tells you everything!

I've known him over 40 years, was at St Mary's with him, he's a cracking bloke but I wouldn't like to upset him.

Just do the business at Dorking lads and Wrexham have a game on their hands - can’t wait.

Given Wrexhams modus operandi and how we played them off the pitch first half last season when Cook hasn’t been here long I’m confident enough to say they won’t live with us here in August!

Hard to read much into the subs because near enough the entire squads changed when subs were introduced.

Cooper showed touches of quality and I’d love to see more of him and Whelan also looked really comfortable in the middle of the park.

Special mention to the transfer listed trio who all grafted their backsides off despite being on the list. Asante was everywhere and I thought he was fantastic and Miller came on and played way out of position at right wing and looked good.

Loz was also given the captain’s armband despite being on the list which may be telling?

Either way I’ve come away from that game buzzing with some of the talent we’ve recruited. Upgrades all over the pitch.

Maguire may mean the hopedfor signing from Altrincham has crashed

The expectation on Wrexham is off the charts for this season & never seen a team odds on to win this league, outsiders think they’ll walk it….personally I don’t think it will…I always like to be positive, but I can see us walking it…smashing teams left right and centre (well the mediocre ones)

Was reading their forum, pre-match they expect 9 out of the 11 starting today to start next Saturday. Only 2 strikers to be different. They beat Sunderland on Tuesday too.

It's normal to play a very strong XI if it's last friendly before before season starts

One name - Sam Hird.

Transfer listed when Cook first arrived yet knuckled down, earned a place, then became an integral figure in years of success.

The listed three all have talent. They'll either re-establish themselves at Town or attract better offers by performing.

Win-win.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Wrexham's weak link is their manager

Not all stewards are comfortable dealing with issues, they are there in the main to help, advise and be available in case assistance is needed.

For this incident the guy needed speaking to by senior stewards and asked to leave. It could have been dealt with quiet simply by Bradford playing on and let the senior steward do their job.

To be fair both Pete Whiteley and the guy who I think is stadium manager made there way down to that bottom corner pretty quickly once they were made aware of the situation.

Surely you are not suggesting that the act of giving Maguire some minutes in any way equates to him being an adequate replacement as a LHS CH in a back 4?

We are talking cover here not necessarily first choice.

Our squad currently is too big and Maguire is part of that squad until he isn't.

How many players do you want us to sign and how many players do you think we should have in the squad?

Don't agree, Dave.

If this guy was being offensive and racially abusive he didn't just need speaking to by senior stewards and asked to leave.

He needs to learn a sharp lesson and handed over to the police. This type of behaviour is not acceptable and he needs to learn very quickly that it is not acceptable.

Statement issued by the club, guy denied the allegation and agreed to leave the stadium.

I guess he’s learned a sharpe lesson as the police are involved.

We thought somebody had a medical problem at first, until we saw Hughsie bursting a blood vessel with the chief stewards. Glad it was sorted fairly quickly because he was ready to take his players off and who can blame him. If the idiot was being racially abusive he should be
banned for life or we could see our club in deep crap with the FA and NL. We have never had to tolerate racial abuse in the past and we dont want it now. With the big push for RESPECT throughout the World of Football, we as fans must ensure such behaviour is not tolerated by the rest of the fans in the Stadium. Alot of fans made it the "pop" side for our fans in that area of the West stand and are hoping to make it big numbers there especially for the big games. Lets hope this is a minor one off so that All fans can enjoy themselves wherever we sit without having the odd idiot trying to spoil it.

Great 90mins of football played in the old Cooky style. Both sides played 20 odd players between them, and everyone of our s matched and outplayed them. Yes it was only a friendly but the quality of players Cook has brought in, gives me great excitement knowing that Kabby and Danny's return will make us even stronger. Great to see Manderville and Quigley ( he was unlicky not to have a hattrick), on the score sheet and flogging their nuts off.

Well what a game. The player who stood out for me was our number 3 was it Brandon Horton. He is quality no doubt. Mandy made himself a nuisance to the opposition again and gave us a great goal to celebrate. Olly Banks seems to have improved massively since he played for us last time. They started well enough but we played them off the park, they never got chance to settle into a routine. Really happy with the close season business and very optimistic but I will try not to get carried away.

Horton has been my favourite player in the past 2 games, he gets forward well and is a strong defender.

I'm sorry but that's not true. Racial abuse used to be common at Saltergate in the past. At the new stadium, I asked the stewards to eject a racist from the South Stand during a game against Torquay. Not only did he then deny calling one of our own players a useless black (expletive deleted) but the fans in the row in front, who had been upset and embarrassed by his and his mates' behaviour, all sat on their hands and denied he had said a bad word when asked. It was only after he had kicked me in the back of the head, as punishment for reporting him, that he was shown the door.

The point here is that racists (& other assorted lowlife) will only get chucked out if the people sitting around them are not too scared to do anything about it.

Pretty sure I remember two fans being thrown out of an away game (also against Torquay) for racially abusing some young lads before the match had even kicked off. And don't we have previous history against Bradford City? Not only did a man named Mark Randall mock them over the disastrous fire at Valley Parade but I distinctly recall Town followers chanting that Bradford is "just a small town in Asia."
