Bid put in for a training ground in North Derbyshire. The seller has until the end of July to respond.

If it’s the property I think it is, it’s currently for sale or let.

Wingerworth.

Presumably old College pitches on Langer Lane?

Does that mean the interest in development across the road has been put on the back burner. Sounds like a lose/lose situation for the local residents

Not enough room there for Crooty's original vision, which includes accommodation and other facilities.

I wouldn't read too much into that. He'll do what Cook wants

No Kobongo means it's more likely that Akwasi will be with us at the start of the season

Even after only one viewing, I think Gyasi is ahead of Akwasi.

So, at face value.

Good news we're looking to expand the infrastructure. The better-than-the-concourses-but-not-as-fancy-assed-as-hospitality bars, the Stand Road Park plastic pitches and now this proposed new training ground.

Essentials for an outfit our size.

More good news about players. The squad's really evolving. Another CB and 'keeper and I reckon Cook's balanced both our options and books.

However we're yet again hearing of "IT issues" - how long are they gonna put up with such stuff?! Hell, only this evening my daughter's partner called saying he just couldn't buy tickets for tomorrow on-line. Okay, he'll probably go and get 'em from the shop - but surely this is basic stuff!!!

We know Coe was close to Carson. We know he recieved what most folk might consider a lucrative contract. We know he's still carrying on as if nowt's really changed.

About time the JC who sat alongside both of 'em evolved things off the field, too...

The Podcast migh suggest otherwise - Kabongo not ready to start - sounds like Akwasi will be an asset and maybe rejuvenated

I don't understand what issue people have with buying tickets online? Is it an apple problem or is it a laptop Web browser? I've never had a problem on my android phone.

Did they mention the Gunning situation? Is it available to listen back to on demand?

Has kabongo had a set back, he was supposedly (albeit small) in with a chance of returning for the playoffs, has had an extra couple of months rest, been photographed regularly training and being put thru his paces, yet no mention of him receiving any game time, nor any mention of any (hopefully) minor setback he might have suffered??

I doubt there was ever any realistic chance of him figuring last season.

No mention of a set back but previously plenty of mention of a stupidly ridiculous optimistic return. I just think (hope) a reality has set in.

Close to being resolved - of others they were much more circumspect

Be nice, especially if they revamped the bar
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Kabby was never going to be ready for the playoffs. It was a stupid statement when it was made. He’s being built up to fitness gradually. Sensible.

He’s got to be physically and mentally fit enough. So contact will need to be increased slowly

I will be surprised if we see him this side of Christmas. Given the severity on the injury.
