He's alright and is capable of some cracking saves but if we can upgrade with somebody who isn't stuck to his line then that would be grand. Tommy Lee used to come and claim frequently, it inspires confidence.

From what I've seen of Ryan Boot he no more comes for crosses than Loach which is the criticism often levelled at Scott.

I think Cook's noted the general lack of height in our defence and gone some way towards resolving that with his signings.

If Banks does sign he is another one well over 6 foot so we might be better equipped in dealing with these teams that like it "up in the air".

How good a keeper is that I had never heard of, though, is another question so we'll have to wait and see.

Even if it isn't a direct Loach replacement, it needs to be someone who can provide him some genuine competition. Loach had that shirt to himself all year regardless of performance.

Not sure I wouldn't have another forward on the bench so would include either Rowe or Quigley.

Oyeleke might not be ready for the start of the season according to the DT.

Banks will be signing on Friday and I would expect him to be in the starting eleven.

Ideally, we need to be able to name 7 on the bench even though the NL decrees we can only substitute 3 players. Have we really got to go with only 5 again this coming season?
