So far so good in this chase. Famous last words.

I put it on briefly and Kerr got out so i've turned it off and left them to it. I missed most of a chase the other week and put it on as we were getting close to getting over the line only to lose a load of wickets and fail to get the target so i refuse to watch now if they are going well and i've watched none!!

Great chase again, big players stepping up.

Elsewhere Peter Siddle nearly dogs out a win by taking three wickets in the last over trying to defend 9 needed only for ex Derbyshire loanee Conor McKerr to hit the last ball and his first ball for four to win. Siddle bowled two snorting Yorkers to bowl two Surrey batsman.

Second in the table as it stands. Notts away on the Thursday, lancs at home Friday then Durham at home on the 3rd July to finish.

Him and Masood have been incredible so far.

Planning to go to the Durham game so hopefully we are still in it!

the growing belief in this Derbyshire team is fantastic to see

I went last night and the controlled manner in which they set about chasing what in the past would have seen them lose by about 40 runs was very pleasing to the eye

just got to go and turn over our bogey team tomorrow night at Trent Bridge now

There does seem to be a big change in mindset around things. We've become harder to beat in the County Championship games and seem to have a growing belief of what we can do in T20 games. We're at disadvantage to the likes of Notts, Lancs who have a big number of players who can change the game whilst our batting is very reliant on Masood and Madsen, Du Plooy to an extent and then hope that one of the likes of Reece, Guest can do something but its hit and miss. Good to see the likes of Scrimshaw making a big impression.

Be great to get a home QF and go on to make finals day again...the one and only time we made it ended up being the same weekend we travelled to California for a family wedding and it was up in the hills near Lake Tahoe with no phone signal and crap internet plus the time difference meant it was the middle of the night so i missed it!!

Looks like Masood will miss nearly a month that means missing 3 County Championship games and the whole of the T20 knockout phase!

Notts 158-2 with seven overs left.

Massive test of our credentials now.

It’s a very difficult ground to defend but the bowling has been dreadful.

Wow! What a fantastic finish and win for Derbyshire. Lancs looked to be coasting. Scrimshaw, who'd been hammered earlier, came on for the last over with them wanting 10. Three dot balls and a wicket saw them off. Brilliant last ball entertainment. Well done Derbs.

I agree, thought Lancashire were going to win. A great win after the defeat by Notts. One more win gets us through as it’s in our own hands.
