Yes, but I count 20 players under contract in that list.

So, if the 4 transfer listed do move on that would reduce the number down to 16.

The only way I get that up to 19 is if 3 of those offered new contracts re-sign.

Sorry I seem to have been a bit pedantic on this one but I was just trying to get my brain round numbers.

The simple truth is there has been no confirmation from the Club that any of those offered new contracts have refused them or that negotiations have been brought to an end. Similarly, we haven't a clue regarding the situation of the 4 players transfer listed. Obviously, Cook and the Club are closer to what's happening.

Obviously, if no player re-signs and the transfer listed ones move on then there is more room for further incomings. Excluding those players it suggests we could be in the market for a further 6 or so players to bring the total to around 22 in total. With the rush of incoming players it seems to me we now need confirmation regarding departures before many more are added to the squad.

You might not have a clue re the future of players from last season but the club will have and factored it in.

even with ins vs outs one of the biggest concerns has to be that our 2 major sources of goals in the squad are both as it stands sitting with question marks over them, hopefully both rowe and kabbs are fit and well and ready to go come the start of the season, otherwise as it stands we're looking to quigley. cook will look for goals from across the team but those 2 will make a massive difference for sure.

At this stage all we can do is guess whether we are in credit by comparing the wages of the seven released with the wages of the four signed. My guess is that we are well in the black.

On top, we've got Kellermann's wage. The others who were made offers have a grace period to accept, probably the 1st July.

For those transfer listed, they could leave at any time up to the end of their contracts I presume.

So, on numbers, I can see us getting another 3 imminently if Cooky thinks we need 'em (and that's by no means inevitable looking at the eclectic side we can now put out), and then biding our time a bit.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

You are not wrong.

With Tshimanga there will be an indication of the progress he is making and when he is likely to be available for first team action. However, there might be a question mark over his confidence levels and whether or not he will be the player he was before his injury.

To a certain extent we have similar issues with Clarke.

With Danny Rowe it might be more of a problem putting a time scale to it which seemed to be the case last season.

That is disappointing. Our best centre back by a mile.

Looking at our signings so far and the complaints of lack of pace in the team and mobility Cook seems to have sorted this

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Banks and Oldaker Vs McCourt, Weston, Rowley and Kellerman is a very nice way to upgrade the squad. I'm sure we'll see more of this, spending on quality not quantity.

Picked up a top knot and tats I see, also looks to have put a bit of muscle on, don't think he's going to be the same player he was last time, looking forward to seeing him in the shirt again.

As a side note Sbarra has just signed a new 2 yr extension with Wrexham showing interest.
God I hate this league.

Think it’d be unfair to say what he is like as a signing now based on his initial spell with us when he was a lot younger and straight out of non league playing at a higher level. He’s gone on to do ok for himself so suggests he’s been a decent player at this/league 2 level.

We need at least one CB/RB for sure. At the moment we have King RB, Williams RB/CB, Grimes CB and Cook CB covering three positions between the four of them.

The lad from Maidenhead was seen collecting Adblue at Aldi opposite the ground this morning.
God I hate this league.

That’s such a big signing for them. I can’t believe he’s stayed because surely they won’t be in and around it again next year. Clubs of that size can rarely keep at a top level consistently.

Maybe squeezing cash out of Wrexham. They do have the play-off cash.

Not when he's not playing because of injury.
