John moved to Derbyshire from Middlesbrough with his family as a kid and became hooked on watching Town from then on.
Had many a cracking away trip with him over the years and he could be very forthright in his views as could be seen from his posts on here, that was just down to his passion for the club.
He’ll be greatly missed by many and leaves a son Archie who also regularly attends the games.
RIP John, miss you buddy.

Despite his banter and wind ups on this board,John was a proper bloke, a good laugh and someone I spent a lot of time with in my early drinking days at the Saltergate Club and round town.
RIP John, taken away from us far too early

Terrific bloke who loved Town even though it was his adopted club.
Thoughts with his lad and family.

John came up to Scotland a couple of times for a few beers and a couple of Killie games, thoroughly decent bloke.
My last visit to watch town was about 3/4 years ago but due to some bad planning on my part we couldn't meet up for a beer.
Condolences to all his family and friends.
RIP
Bob.
