So basically anyone who is retired gets a ticket. Seems fair...

It doesn’t have to be the season ticket holder that queues just someone with the season ticket in their hand. A mate who may be going for himself, a rate mate that will do it for you just cos he’s a mate, a member of your own family, somebody off here etc
If you can’t go and you haven’t got any mates or anyone else that isn’t already going, then you just need to pick your pub.

Portable projector and a bed sheet?

I know what you can get, its the timing and required logistics that the club will be up against. Think they can safely staff an event with several thousand people in 3 days?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

From the DT, suspect a full link will appear in the appropriate thread shortly, but it says in there :-

But there will be many disappointed Spireites supporters who will sadly miss out because of the small allocation given by Solihull, which we understand to be 575, something which is totally out of Chesterfield’s hands.

The decision cannot be challenged because the Moors have allocated more than 10% of thet total stadium capacity (4,510 according to their own website) to Town fans and because all home tickets have already been snapped up.

I'll be back for the sandwich and cup of coffee that I left then. I thought you were homeless. (Maybe I should have read the 'Wanted Solihull ticket' written on the piece of cardboard outside the tent.)

Seriously though, any allocation that is less than season ticket numbers is a potential problem. An allocation that is well below is close to impossible for the club to manage satisfactorily. Good luck to all involved.

Something at our ground seems a no-brainer as a distant second best.

Do you find your 6th finger becomes a help or a hinderance when you’re tenpin bowling? 🤔

Our 575 will probably still be as loud as their 4,500.

The ticket allocation is a joke. They get 1500 home fans max normally and suddenly they have sold 3500 more? I don't believe that for one minute. It's ticket shithousery and designed to ensure there are the bare minimum number of away fans there!

I only hope that if we are in this godforsaken league with them next season we repay the favour and give them precisely no seats. particularly their directors!

You could watch with a half decent step ladder from outside. Can anyone put a sofa on a cherry picker?

Could do with the club putting something out there really. I work in Leeds but will be shifting some stuff around and working from home if the tickets are going on sale early morning to ensure I can get down!

Joking aside, what an absolute farce this is.

Originally it was something like that but they upped it after doing the necessary ground repairs if memory serves

Tickets won't be sold online, just direct from club shop, and only 575 available...is what I'm hearing, that's crap if true, and leaves me no choice but to watch on TV, no way can I get to queue up.. only missed 4 games anall, I'll be gutted to miss this un

Tomorrow is forecasting rain, may be we could consider letting people queue in one of the stands, a seat is a blessing for us older guys and not to stand in the rain would be appreciated.

It would also be appreciated if the club could be up front on when tickets will go on sale as people have to put their lives on hold.

Any danger of them actually announcing something tho? I’m normally pretty patient but the games Sunday. We’ve only got a small amount of tickets and if certain posters get their way we’ll all have to try and somehow arrange to get out of work/school/college or travel at the last minute to deserve a ticket.
