No need for the sarcasm.

Danny was in charge for games 24-27, not James. So let's focus on games 1-23.

It was all the draws in the first 23 that hurt us.

Those fans, who can see the bigger picture, knew that we'd had an easy run of fixtures up to that point.

Just 8 out if his 23 games were against Top 11 teams, meaning 12 of the remaining 21 were against them, with double headers against Stockport and Notts looming.

Many fans simply got ahead of themselves, just like Grimsby's did after the first 12 games.

I think we would still have finished somewhere between 3rd and 7th anyway.

Good summary. I agree.

He's clearly a talented manager, and I wish he he had kept his nose clean. I was one of the first on the Rowe bandwagon, from his first couple of interviews I said yep, that's my man, he's going to take us out of this league. But your continual refusal to even countenance the possibility that he did something which could be deemed a sackable offence is just... odd.

His head was going, by the way, as shown vs Aldershot but I think he would've found it again had he not... y'know... been so horny.

I'm with this! 100%

The rational response. Most folk without a weird crush or a keyboard with a faulty capital letters key see it this way, I'd wager.

He’s def a decent enough coach - he was schooled by the best at West Ham until he fcked up and was sacked.
He’ll be a good successful manager wherever he goes but it will always probably be short lived as his nature will rear it’s ugly head

My humble opinion is that the players do not want to play for him. The constant change in formations and personnel don't help either.

Well how do you square those that were cast into the wilderness just prior to JR being suspended.
God I hate this league.

Not really a refusal, it’s just that it’s clear he’s not been arrested, he’s not on police bail, he’s not been charged and he’s got another job within a few weeks.

The Trust then went back away from the successful recruitment process that employed JR in the first place and back to an Allen/Carsonesque appointment.

We are back to square one with a manager who no one knows if he is interested or not, complete silence from the club, a season which has disintegrated more than any other in memory

We have a squad that was top of the league who are now seemingly not playing for the manager and suddenly all are useless

We will need a complete overhaul with a manager who knows nothing about this league and more importantly the ones below it

I just wonder that if a bloke has just been horny it needed to come to this

Or Rowe frequently picked Miller before Whittle? Why on earth did he do that? Whittle can play wing back, Miller can't. I asked Whittle at Curzon why Rowe didn't prefer him and he appeared as mystified as me but said that's how it is with managers. Don't say Rowe didn't make bad decisions.

I think JR was single minded in everything he did, we got a little insight when he left Gloucester City with the fans comments. His turn over of players re- enforced this view whilst in charge here, one mistake and you were out. If you crossed him you were out, I'd wager the conversations with the board for more monies would have been interesting. His suspension then sparked the comments from ex players and those in and around West Ham all tinged with resentment towards him.

You look at Clough and Fergie who ruled with the iron fist, these 2 managers enjoyed positions of strength at their clubs and I think JR just failed to recognise he was frightening the board to death with the way he was discarding players. May be the circumstances of his suspension came at an opportunist time.

If we fail to make even the POs then it's down to JAMES ROWE what a planner. The injury jinx has been horrendous again for the past 3 seasons. Johnson lifted his team up for the game against us, time for PC to do the same and get a bit nasty with some of the players who are not giving the shirt their All. Torquay gave it their all and played some decent football, our lot had 894 loud fans cheering them on and still couldn't lift my little finger.

5 years Dave.
God I hate this league.

But if it turns out that no charges are levied, it could still be a justified sacking. For most people, anyway. I wonder what he would have had to do (or be accused of) for you to support the Trust's course of action.

Ha, yes. True. Freudian slip, it felt like a sacking and I'm sure it would've been one had he not agreed to the mutual cancellation of his deal. I'd reword what I wrote to say it was a justified course of action (suspension while investigations made followed by mutual cancellation).

By the Chelsea game, we had played 9 teams in the top half of the table and 12 in the bottom half. So, that's pretty much half and half. We lost against Woking and dropped points against Dover and Altrincham...3 from the 12 of the bottom half.

“Just been horny”

Define just been horny?

Upskirting? Groping? Sexual assault?

But hey that’s fine, no big deal lass, just get on with it it’s nowt really coz a bloke has just been horny

Your consistent desire to sweep sexual misconduct under the carpet is deeply unpleasant- I’m wondering why you take this position? Do you have a darker side to your character?
A new hope.

You say 'if' but you also say the evidence is 'clear'. Where is it?

There's clear evidence that the dweeb recording is a sackable offence. What have you got?

It’s clear because there’s no charge, no arrest and no bail.

Sacked for the dweeb recording? Don’t be ridiculous.

How do you know there is no charge, arrest, or bail?

I asked if you agree it's a sackable offence. I didn't say it was used to sack him. It's a test of your legal brain.
