But to get a squad that can deliver Cook's style of play he's going to have to go a long way above the National League. He's already got a squad that showed they were among the best in this league, and they can't hack it.

I would say you need to be a more physical type player , than a easy on the eye player at this level, you don't seem to get away with it, whilst the higher up the pyramid you go , the physical side of the game isn't as prevalent.

Long term, if backed, I’d still bank on Cook delivering, but it’s gone horribly awry since his appointment, and I found myself questioning his appointment today. Would we have been better letting Webb have the reigns for the rest or the season, is Cook a long term project or a short term vanity project?
And I’d question any manager, at any level, pursuing a style of play that the squad can’t deliver.
Bottom line, like you’ve alluded to, is that people willing to fork out good money in difficult times deserve to know the managers situation.

No we don't, we need to know what contract he's got (if any) and can we get rid without us having to pay him off. Then we need to know they'll do a proper interview process next time.

If the managers any good then, what better than to take control of a team that's already top of the table ? He's a manager, for chrissake, if he didn't think the players were good enough (a team that was best in the league when he took over) - then B****Y manage the problem, get some better players in.
