Yup, heard summat similar last week, Dave.

Hence my nod in that direction when discussing Cook's contract recently.

But my understanding is half the loan (yeah, more debt) is for the supporters bar. Which is nowt to do with who's in the dugout. What's more how can any investor dictate who is? The manager's position is probably the most unpredictable in the Club, so to pin hundreds of thousands on it?

Nah, dun't add up to me. Though a Board who're slowly but surely losing the credit they've gained could and should end the uncertainty by simply telling the truth...

At last, someone starting to see the light

A rumour going around the kop was that Cook has basically told most of the squad they will not be here next season. Big falling out after the Halifax game apparently and stuff was said after Bromley"

"Well, I heard summat really juicy......
which is that Cook hasn't actually signed a long term contract yet and that our new investors won't put the money up until he does."

Don't these two rumours contradict each other? If Cooky hasn't signed a long-term contract then how does he have the right to tell the players that they're going??
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I couldn't give a f**k about Kellerman tbh, he's one who can go at the end of the season.

His body language is dreadful. Out the door for me.

The look Kellerman gave Cook when he was brought off suggested tension to me.

Kellerman giving Cook daggers?

Blimey - shudda been the other way 'round!

This is a player who spat a nursery fulla dummies at Stamford Bridge, who seemed to just chuck the towel on what'll be the biggest stage he'll ever tread.

No worries though, he'll probably find his real level at Fylde sometime soon...

Been a joke since Chelsea, he was pathetic that day, players like him and Mandeville should have no future at this club if we want to win the league next year.

Kellerman has been dreadful since Rowe cocked our season up completely.

Rowe is the one who cocked up our season with his alleged goings on. The injuries have been massive but I was still confident that JR would get us in the top 3. Cooky is a good manager but knows nothing about this league and is still on a learning curve regarding style of play and quality of players required in this league. He said he wants a squad of 22 to 25 for next season and we have 17 players who could be gone if we so wished. My mate said that speaking to Kellerman about making the playoffs, he alleges that Kellerman said he hopes we dont make it because he wants a holiday. ( probably said in jest if he said it at all, but the way some of the players have performed under Cooky, it makes you wonder if some of them are up for the fight.Well we'll find out at Torquay). thought we were unlucky to lose ttoday, but we lacked that pace and urgency up front to put pressure on the opposition. I'm confident that we will make the POs, the travelling fans at Torquay we lift us to victory.

When has a contract ever stopped PC off leaving a club. The contract length means absolutely nowt. Sounds like BS

He's not a bad player but if he doesn't want to put the efforts in to work with the new boss then his commitment to the club can be questioned. If you aren't committed to the shirt then off you pop.

I’ll have some of what your drinking Dave. The only saving grace we’ve got is that Daggers have 2 very hard games to finish off with. I think a point will be enough to get to the play offs, but that will be hard to come by.

Or bring in Gary Robert's. doesn't make any sense. I think its bull. not sure who's under contract. but I would get rid of if possible. Miller . Weston. Mandeville. Kellerman. McCourt. Tyson. Payne.Denton.Hollis Quigley. Whelan. Kerr . and keep Loach .Carline .Oyeleke.Gunning. Maguire.Rowe. Asante. Clarke.Williams. Minter.Tshimanga.King..Croll Grimes.Khan Whittle.Wharton .not sure on Rowley? so 12 or 13 out and bring about 7 or 8 decent players in should give us a squad of about 24 -25.
