No one knows for sure why JR has been suspended. It may or may not be for a single allegation or numerous allegations. But let's say for instance the incident "I'll bite your nose off you ####@## dweeb" is one of the allegations. Surely the club if they wanted could dismiss him on this alone. I'm no HR expert but have worked closely with HR in previous roles. I would imagine the club could go along the lines of making threats of violence while representing the club etc etc. But then I suppose they would need to be able to prove it was JR that actually shouted it.

Not only that but if your gonna discipline him for that what about when a player gets sent off for violent conduct or foul & abusive language?
If players can keep their emotions in check then you could discipline him for them comments but if they can't then clubs would surely be sacking players off twice a week.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

.
We're not talking about a player though. It's a contact sport so you're going to get as you say violent conduct with players. We're talking about a manager stood at the side of the pitch allegedly threatening to bite someone's nose off. Now we don't know if this is what he's been suspended for, I personally don't believe it is. But and a big but, the club must have seen the video and if they wanted to could they use it against him??
. Just a question I'm putting out there. There must be someone on here with HR experience.

But as an organisation you can't treat people differently. If Rowe loses his job for threatening somebody then the players should be treat the same way as should a receptionist, steward or even the tea lady.

Keep saying this but football almost never uses the usual rules of employment law!

Nearly all the rumours suggest its not the Maidenhead outburst.Managers surely shout worse.Ever listened to Sheriden? Players are also capable of giving it back!

Totally agree.
You only have to look at Raith Rovers and David Goodwillie. They have now turned round and said they will never play him.Its a funny old game.

They'll have to abide by employment law & pay the chuffer up though.

OFC you can treat people differently.

Managers are held to a higher standard as they are expected to set a better example.

If one of the cleaners said " ah go **** yourself" to the guy on reception it would be fine. If I said it all hell would break loose

There’s 2 sides to it. One side is the football side, coarse, crude, often ruthless. What happens in the dressing room so to speak.

Then there is the side that is public facing. Dealing with the public, with “civilian” side. If it crosses over…….
A new hope.

What I don’t get is, if Rowe is that bad, why do players play so well for him, and why do some re-sign for him at different clubs?
These go to eleven.

That’s something I’ve questioned too.

I get the money side of it but if the bloke is as universally disliked as some folk are saying, players would generally avoid him like the plague you’d think.

Even Hitler had his followers (bad analogy but you get the drift)

In our case surely the agent advises a move as it's more high profile for the player.
God I hate this league.

Yeah, yeah. James Rowe is Hitler reincarnated. We get it.

I've also heard the rumoured supporters bar is actually a concentration camp and that no one ever leaves the away team shower block. It was on twitter. So it's almost definitely true.

That’s the obvious pull but would you move to work directly for a manager who is so disliked by so many in your industry?
Not only work for them but have to either relocate or endure a long commute a few times a week for the privilege?

I suppose you might for a kings ransom but I doubt we’re talking that kind of money.

A friend of a friend told me that he saw something on social media that loosely implied Rowe has all his players immediate families kidnapped as soon as they sign for him in order to prevent them revealing his plan to invade Poland.

It's probably almost definitely not false. A source close to the club who I can't name assures me there'll be an announcement yesterday from the club to confirm.
