I can't believe anyone is taking those rumours seriously. I'm pretty sure it's all come from Stockport fans speculating in a WhatsApp chat, screenshotting it and sending it around as if it's some kind of leak.

I want to know what's happened as much as anybody but that story is beyond ridiculous.

Because the club and potentially the police are investigating. Why is this so difficult to understand?

The Club is at fault? It's told us that James has been suspended whilst an investigation is underway. I'm not expecting to read the final outcome for at least another 2 weeks, minimum. Then, if I've still not seen anything, I'll assume it's all getting rather "dirty". I trust the Board to announce anything newsworthy once it [legally] can. That will be either the date when James is to return, that he's resigned,that he's been dismissed or that he's left the Club by mutual consent. Personally, I don't think there's any point in the Club putting out statements saying there's nothing further to report yet. They shouldn't tell us what's happening regards the disciplinary process. It's a private matter between them and James.

As Cartman used to say thats just being needy but this is not the same as what the next team will be, if anyone is being bought or sold etc....this is a serious issue that's led to the manager being suspended with possible police involvement and is still an ongoing investigation so they cant comment. We will find out whats happening when its possible to do so.

A comment like this clearly shows a lack of understanding just what depth there is to employment law, let alone FA Conduct, Charter Standard Conduct etc etc etc.

Unfortunately, moondog, we have 45 pages of speculation, people stoking the fire with nothing more than guesswork, without an iota of actual information and that's only on this message board.

Ideally, the matter needs to be brought to a conclusion as quickly as possible but with full respect to employment law and the people involved.

Until then, you are quite right, and as Judge Rinder says I'm pleased you have written it in "BIG".

Because in my opinion by keeping mum on everything is doing far more harm than good! Then you moan about horrible speculation. Imagine whats going to happen at away games our players are going to get some right stick from opposition fans. I still say get it out in the open and let’s move on! I am sure the Trust will want this matter resolved as quickly as possible,like we all do.
But Due Process has to be followed so we have to be patient.
No doubt social media will have every scenario suggested and counter claimed.
That is just what happens these days.....oh for just the Derbyshire Times and Green Un days !
