I’ve made my mind up that it’s something serious. I haven’t said he’s done this or done that, however if someone wants to put what they think may have happened then they should.

If there's no evidence or your evidence is 'my mate told me' then I'd rather you keep it to yourself. Too many wannabe journos and people making stories up in their heads.

This is a big deal, of course people are going to discuss it and put their theories across, that's what a forum is all about. It's like saying don't discuss the Eastleigh game until we know the final score.

If you don't like it, don't read it. You are not being forced to believe anything written on the thread so stop acting like a baby.

Of course we won't know anything for certain until an announcement is made but folk should be able to discuss what's gone on and say what they think may have happened.

Thought he’d gone?

I don’t care what you think to be honest. If you don’t like what you read, don’t read it. It’s not rocket science.

If I don't read it how do I know I don't like it?

If that was true... why was he still in charge for the shots game?

Because it probably all kicked off again after shots game maybe. but was simmering at maidenhead and leading up to Saturday.?

No.

All I've ever heard is that James Rowe has transformed the club with a long defeatest, pessimistic culture with unhappy, demoralised staff, to one having a bright future with motivated staff where everyone pulls together and contributes to our current success.

Whatever the cause, the board have a responsibility, indeed a duty of care to its employees, whether they be disgruntled ex-employees, or otherwise, including the manager. Whether they were right to suspend him, the jury is out until more is known. Suspension seems a drastic step to make but is not necesarily an indication of a dismissal offence. so we need to stop guessing and drawing conclusions from gossip. The board acted wisely in appointing him. They now need to act wisely in dispensing support to all concerned.

I am beginning to think after all that the Maidenhead incident is what precipitated the suspension and DR's temper and language is an embarrassment to the Trust - if he can't control it and can't identify it as a serious problem then this is the shock treatment to identify it for him. Let's face it JR had lost it completely. 'Misconduct' wouldn't be too strong a word to describe it, especially if it had been raised with him on other occasions but to no effect.

Hope I'm right because this could be sorted.

How will he know whether or no he likes it until he's read it?

Just seen a post saying it’s been reported on radio Sheffield that they don’t think it’s just a club investigation, it’s more serious than that. Wasn’t listening myself so apologies if the post I’ve seen is incorrect.

Was told there was a police presence at the club yesterday, but how true that is ??

If true they will have be told to go forth and multiply

<div><br></div><div>Other clubs will think they can take advantage of the current situation and try and destabilise players with bids, let’s ride the storm this week, regroup and go again. It’s vitally important that all fans get behind the team not all fall out. Let’s wait and see until the outcome has been decided.</div>

Well I’m at ground and we’ve got light on pitch trying to get the grass to grow. More thrilling updates as and when.

Really?

That’s something we didn’t have, they’ve appeared quickly…

Lets hope its all to do with that Maidenhead video, the police are involved maybe, so that means the club have no choice but to suspend Rowe. The police hopefully decide there are no charges to answer to, leaving the club to issue Rowe a last warning about his conduct. Then everything goes back to as normal as it can do.
The Trust dont really want to have to sack Rowe and start looking for a manager at this time of the season, and you kind of feel that they want promotion this year or bust so to speak. I have a feeling they will do their utmost to keep Rowe, just a feeling .
