I think we missed the boat after his treatment last time he showed an interest in Town but I’d be after Nicky Cowley!

Kev Davies will be having a big input though I guess again this time. So my guess would be an approach for Keith Hill……

No no no we've been shown the light, young and upcoming candidates please.
God I hate this league.

Played 12, won , drew 1, lost 9...

Yes the club had just lost its manager in tragic circumstances but still that was bad for a team that was top of the league

But that wasn't our current team, no way will we lose 9 in total this season.

You make some sense in this but he got sack from Ipswich when they were just outside the playoffs. It's a bit harsh to say he failed when the season hadn't even finished.

On his vlog he said he had to sign 20 players when he arrived without any recruitment team to support him.

Different league, different standard of opposition - what about the injury situation at the time.

If JR goes the club needs a leader embraced by fans as a potential winner. In my view that would include the Notts, Halifax and Boredom managers but not Webb.

Because the owners weren't happy with being in 11th position in league one. So does that mean in your book anything less than 10th in league one is failure?

Well the owners thought that and from what I understand the fans were not displeased to see him go either.

if and i mean IF we part company with James Rowe, the board have to decide what they want and fast, they have given rowe pretty much full control by the looks of it to build it the way he wants, lots of change in 14 months, so for me you either have to go with someone who has a very similar football outlook to rowe or someone who is good at managing with what they have, what can't happen is they bring in someone who wants to rip it all up and start again, this is the approach we had seen previously under the previous regime and look where that got us.

If JR does leave then why not bring Paul Cook back until the end of the season with the target of automatic promotion? Then both sides can sit down a review the situation at the end of the season. The players we already have would suit Cooks style of play and hopefully he could if required sign a couple just to see us through. It would be a positive coming out of a massive negative and might just lift the gloom.

They were under the mad Italian owners at the time who were draining the club financially. They had virtually a full team of U18s playing in the league. It’s not a fair comparison to look at his time there and question his record

Yes, that's actually the case.

There's a catalogue of issues-

Refused to put he/him on his Twitter bio
Said he disagreed with taking the knee
Wouldn't accept his privilege for being white and middle class
