Got it from a reliable source that Rowe has been definitely sacked.because of fighting with Grimes and losing dressing room. also went on to say club talking to Halifax manager .and that cookie said he would come back and help club out . and before anyone asks I can't say who's told me . As I promised that I wouldn't do so. so its no good asking me . hopefully club will issue a statement soon .

Strange that if you were fighting on a Tuesday you are allowed to sign a new player on the Friday.

Agreed. "Being summoned" is just a colloquial phrase nowadays which is used all of the time. Many years ago, it might have had a stricter connotation but not anymore.
