Maybe the board thought they were getting Scott quigley and when the other quigley rocks up they read the reviews and thought that’s misconduct your suspended

Hahaha. In which case the suspension is very fair.

God what a nightmare this all is.

That rotten tactical display was a borderline disciplinary matter.

My feelings on this are that the club looks like it has grounds for Rowe to be sacked! This doesnt mean that they have to follow this path, they could ruin a young mans managerial career before it gets going, as well as our season, lets be honest the fans have suffered enough.

Please dont think I take bullying lightly, I dont, but I think a decent bowlocking, a very public apology and apologies to those concerned, plus let it be known that this is the very last chance saloon here, might be the way forwards. Rowe also needs to be told in no uncertain terms, that being a football manager does not give him the right to treat people badly.

At this moment in time, Rowe has achieved nothing as a manager, we have achieved nothing this season as a club, you get the feeling that one way another we need 1 another to reach both our goals.

The club needs to make the right decision for all concerned, but I really hope a knee jerk reaction doesnt end up badly for all concerned.

Total agreement. There are a lot of knee-jerking reactions on here. We are in a top place atm. Taking time and a measured response needed. We've had so many failed managers over the the last 6 years, it's untrue, almost. We've finally got someone in - after a lot of background research and indeed, 'consultancy.' Nothing was flagged up on the person spec. For me, everyone needs to wait and stop hypothesising. Nobody knows what it's about and some of the posts are not warranted.

The timeline of this is confusing. Can’t have come to light until yesterday for reasons already mentioned (taking charge Saturday and signing someone Friday). If it is Whittle who was getting the b0llocking, he played the 90 at Maidenhead and came on Saturday…

I’ve no evidence to support this of course, but wonder if it’s pitch related. He’s clearly very unhappy with the ‘unacceptable’ surface in the post match interview

Still think he is responding to someone who said something to him. It sounds like he is challenging someone at halftime to confront him. Think this Alex thing is a red herring

I’d be amazed if this was the catalyst for an suspension. It is almost comic book, has to be something far more serious

Whatever, it is like a whatdoneit, with plots and subplots

But the way players have been signed, dropped, move on, signed replacement players was something that I’ve thought WAS a concern. The reasons at the time were irrelevant and now perhaps are a little more clear.

I'm not exactly sure this list is as long as you appear to make out.

Yes, there's been Whelan and Smith plus the loan signings of Dinanga and Yussuf but how many more?

By contrast we have also had players extend their contracts and the likes of Clarke who signed after being on loan with us so there is a distinct possibility that they were reasonably happy with how they were being treated.

You might be right. Watch where whittle appears from on the highlights.

But, on Saturday, Whittle was sat on the bench and came on as a sub which suggests Alex was still in the manager's plans after Tuesday night.

Add Asante, Carline, Gunning etc who followed him here.

The local book makers should take odds on why he's suspended seen as though no one is saying why

Bizarre comment, you have no idea what he's accused of.

'He's poisoned George Foster, rolled him up in the old frost cover, and chucked him in the canal.'

'Couldn't give a flying one'.

In open play Whittle would be on the far side but for an attacking set piece there's every chance Whittle could've come into the middle of the pitch, centre circle ish, to stop a quick counter.

I'm convinced it's Whittle. You can hear Rowe chuntering to Webb before it becomes more audible..."I'll get him when he comes in, when he comes in there". I reckon Whittle has chirped back at Rowe over something and he's completely flipped.

The response "are you still going?" is most definitely not from a Scouser.

Wasn't there some comments about the pitch in the Aldershot post match interview.
Has he said his piece rather forcibly to the powers that be ?

Blimey, that is a good one , straight in at 5/2

Don’t tell Mansfield fans, they still like him. There’ll be letters into the Chad demanding the canal gets dredged if they catch wind
