I doubt James Rowe is easy to work for. I see Gloucester are now 19th in National League North. And they are better off without him.... well some may beg to differ on that.
Arrogant is never a great trait but its a thin line between confidence and arrogance and if you are a winner, I suggest its easy to overstep.
Being a bully is unacceptable - but maybe after a few years of losers with losers mentality the staff have got used to lax ways and no one caring. Maybe what they call bullying is someone holding them to account to do their job.
And that ladies and gentlemen is why there is an INVESTIGATION before a HR meeting with the relevant people....
Wasn’t it this Twitter journo that broke exclusive news of us signing someone from Hartlepool based on the player tweeting he was travelling to chesterfield only for it to turn out he was playing against us in a reserve game?

Absolutely awful timing though

Okay, the allegations may be so serious they'd no choice. But given the circumstances it would've been more than easy to look the other way. Or brush it under the carpet. Or smear a convenient scapegoat. Infact do pretty much what many suspected was so often done as Town slid into the cess pit of sleaze.
As for Rowe, I'm sad to say I can only echo the sense of inevitability emanating from others. Let's be clear; JR can't be a total ogre as a succession of players have performed well enough for him to deliver success. However there's been a troubling 'underground car park' narrative of ugly behaviour too. To the point it's no surprise to witness a wry satisfaction in certain quarters.
All we can hope for now is a speedy conclusion. If Rowe's gotta go then get him gone and appoint a replacement. If this can be settled somehow amicably then do so and re-focus on football (though I find it impossible to see how the Club and manager can simply carry on as before).
Either way let's remember there're legal implications here, the possibility of a victim who needs to be taken seriously and, equally importantly, an accused who ought to be viewed innocent until proven guilty.
Though most of all this us the time for everyone to remember CFC's good name, so casually disregarded and discarded over previous years, must come first. And if it means losing a promotion chasing boss to do that, then so be it...

And we all need lessons in life to teach us where the boundaries are.
I once called my boss an idiot and avoided getting fired (you cant be fired for telling the truth so I said we would leave it to tribunal to decide...). Working for him was a bit challenging afterwards, didnt affect me but he seemed to think I'd got one over on him

Ooh you little renegade

What about Warnock, Cloughie and Fergie, all known to be bullies at times but won many trophies between them.
I don't suppose shezza was Mr. Nice Guy, he even called some of us fans nasty names etc. but we didnt give a flying F. Pity he was caught on camera at maidenhead it ought to have remained in the closed dressing room if there was an axe to grind. I felt like biting a few balls off some of the players who under performed that night. I f this is the reason for JR's suspension he should be given a fine and a short ban. we need him here. We've had `5 horrible years of failure, since JR arrived he has brought us off the bottom with over 100pts in just over a year. Gave us the belief back within the Club and the attendances will soon be doubled if we continue to do well. The Trust are working miracles I hope JR hasnt gone a step too far I'll be devastated if we lose him. The fans have suffered enough, dont take that belief away from us.

I think it’s becoming very clear that bullying in the workplace is the issue, unfortunately this day & age it’s not acceptable.
There’s nothing wrong with passion, desire & a willingness to succeed….& no doubt this makes him a very good manager..as proven.
But there’s a fine line you need to tread, a desire to succeed should not be at a detriment to how you treat others…..just because your very good at your job, does not make you untouchable
Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no way back from this for James Rowe….no one is bigger than the club.
Arguably & statistically our best ever manager…..a sad if it ends this way. Will ruin JRs reputation going forward & will be very surprised if JR returns back to his role at the club.
Only a matter of time when it’s confirmed……

I know nothing about this situation, and I don't ever do reds/greens, but maybe it was given because the recipient has condemned JR without evidence (as opposed to gossip and guesswork).

Of course there is, a public apology and some appropriate courses.
In fact if he hasn't received appropriate written warnings before I would say its hard to sack someone for a first offence.... assuming of course that he is found guilty....
