Just pure rumour that, and we didn't concede nor look like conceding yesterday, so no problem there,..
Don't try to create a problem where there may not be one.

Are you suggesting that Grimes not playing was the reason for us not winning yesterday yet when he played against Maidenhead we lost as evidence for your suggestion.
Croll, who played central defence was our best player yesterday, and we kept a clean sheet. The reasons we didn't win were further upfield and the opposition's excellent defending.

No he’s just found some fertile ground and decide to do some muck spreading.
Some people can’t understand the concept that having 5 fit CBs (possibly 6 soon enough) means that someone will miss out as we don’t need 5 CBs in a match day squad of 16. If someone is deemed to have underperformed it is pretty obvious who will miss out given Rowe’s rotation policy.
If we start dropping off the pace for automatic promotion, any guess who will start ‘Has Rowe lost the dressing room’ thread. Know who my money is on.

If we have 6 CBs surely one will be encouraged to find another club- and the favourite at the moment is obvious. Croll’s longer contract, now everyone is just about fit, has changed our requirements.

Manny was not risked due to a slight niggle against maidenhead but hopefully should be okay for Eastleigh.

It's standard practice in any sport. Wether or not it's football, rugby, cricket, netball, athletics etc.
If a player loses form, makes mistakes that are costly or fails to follow instructions, he or she is dropped. Doesn"t mean they"ve fallen out and he'll be back on the bench next week to prove it.

And we have four left footers but not convinced Grimes should be the one to go

So come on then show us the proof that there's been a falling out. You must get through a lot of bog roll from wiping your mouth.

Yep. If Aldershot had signed Quigley, he would have picked Grimes.

Grimes is out best defender. I'm not convinced by Croll against physical centre forwards as he will get knocked about.

Aldershot didn"t have any forwards, physical or otherwise.
You're complaining Grimes was dropped but then say he wasn't needed 'cos Aldershot didn't cause a threat in the department he is strong.
It's make your mind up time.

Strangely, going on what he said I think JR agrees with you.
In some ways so do I. It's horses for courses and Grimes's height and physicality wasn't required yesterday and as a level of proof we kept another clean sheet which, I believe, was Loach's 13th this season.
What went wrong against Aldershot was a failure to put the ball in the onion bag and, again, whatever formation JR has used that doesn't happen very often. Possibly because we have been easy pickings for to many seasons there is a little bit of forgetfulness about regarding teams that will come to the top of the league and battle for their lives to take a point as if it's their cup final. By comparison, there was a lot of confidence in fans minds that Maidenhead were just there for the taking well it's quite possible that Halifax fans thought that too.

Just a quick question - have you ever coached a team (of any age group)?

Personally, I thought he set out to play 3-4-3 but as the 4 midfielders weren't doing the business Asante started coming deeper and deeper to try and fetch and carry the ball. Weston's sitting back made it more of a 4-3-3 giving Khan too much to do whilst both Miller & King were poor with deliveries. Of our front three Quigley was the best performer but the ref clearly didn't like him whilst his replacement, Denton, did no more than draw a fantastic reception from the crowd. We had numerous corners poorly taken and when Whittle came on he didn't improve on what had gone on before regarding the quality of delivery into the box.
I am not totally convinced the exercise was a total failure but I do believe it needs tweaking if it is to be used again.
