Passing, ball control and hold up play well on top... just need to get our shooting boots on or create a couple of really good chances

Gunning outstanding so far. We look a lot more mobile with Gunning and Kerr at back.

We are well on top. Few observations, Gunning is definitely a CB and looks excellent there. Kerr looks decent. Smith is doing a good job in CM. Whelan has been missed, hugely.

Considering it’s a brand new back three that was impressive.
Kerr seems to have a bit of pace - handy in a back three

Totally bossed that half with the lions share of possession, Gunning an animal at the back & Whelan really makes the difference in midfield.
Final pass & lack of composure in final third has really let us down...Great chance for Whelan to score.

Gunning controlling things from CH, best game so far
Kerry looks solid enough
M.Smith again looks comfortable and playing well
Clark, all left foot needs to get on the ball and run at players
Whelan, glad to have him back
Carline looks off it again tonight, though he looked jaded Saturday
Asante looks more himself tonight

Surprised no ones mentioned Clarke as well, ive been impressed with him, getting forrad to support the front man, good eye forra pass, and not afraid to get stuck in....

New defence is very impressive, midfield well on top, but nothing in their penalty area. If we're going to rely on long range shots they need to make the goalie work at least.
Asante is having to go looking for the ball. He seems to revel in it, but it leaves us short in the middle.
Clark isn't making a big enough contribution. I'd replace him with a striker, but it's a bit early for Tyson, who I think is the only option.
