Didn’t the curt jump into the crowd a few weeks before the incident here?

I'm having difficulty with buying the stream for this one. What with the shenanigans of the fund distribution, the fact they were ripping away fans off last season do I want to or can I morally give'm any cash?
But the big question, can I bear the thought that some of my cash could be contributing to the wages of the loathsome Ashmore?

Then again the prospect of witnessing victory is tempting, pity we've got another rookie ref.

I shall not be bothering with the live stream mate,I'll listen to it on the radio, while shouting obscenities at it,and annoying our neighbours, nothing changes does it pal?

I think you should stop digging tbh

You’ve lost the argument and sometimes it’s best just to hold your hands up

The arguments against you have been based on facts and put over on a clear and intelligent manner

Give it up man and let’s get back to talking about football what we would all be doing if it wasn’t for Ashmore

Ha I feel like I’m in court!
There’s no argument - it’s a non league football forum - it’s not real life.
Don’t feel as though I’ve lost anything (except an hour of my life - but I’m at home in bed so can afford to lose that sadly:-(

Anyway, back to Borehamwood. Much as I want to watch the match tonight, I'm not giving that club my money. Firstly due to their dreadful attitude to and treatment of fans, visiting media etc and secondly because they've managed to benefit from the pandemic funding in a way that was completely at odds with its intention.

With that in mind and noting similar feelings from others, if someone does want to purchase and stream it for others somewhere (I'm no expert on this) I'd be more than happy to chuck a few quid in the pot to cover the purchasers costs with the rest given to a suitable good cause.

Despite all my above posts I do really dislike Boreham Wood as they shafted me work wise so let’s hope they get hammered

I remember at Gillingham away in late ‘80’s / early ‘90’s Chris Marples having a shocker and getting abuse/ he gave back and gestured the Town fans to be w****.
Didn’t feel the need to clamber over the fence and attack him though!

Marps would have slapped you silly if you’d tried in fairness. Definitely wouldn’t have rolled around and invented things!

For info, CFC Match Preview ..

You can listen to BBC Three Counties coverage of the game via the BBC Sport website or mobile app.

Think I read somewhere that Al was asked to pay £60 for the privilege of entry as media, which on top of his fuel etc. wasn't viable.

Most clubs allow them in for free.

Yes a bit like last season, whereby match day prices were advertised at 'X' if bought on the day but 'Y' (£2 cheaper I cant remember the exact price) if bought in advance. We enquired about the advance tickets but was told it was policy that they could only be purchased at the ground
In effect making the match price 'Y' but ripping away fans of for 2quid and having to stand on decrepit terrace.

And by making it difficult for opposition radio they hope to sell more streams

They are little ****ers aren't they? You'd think in the current climate they'd be doing all they can to make sure as many fans can follow the game - especially given how much listening to/streaming the game means to some folk who have not a lot else to look forward too at the moment.
I really do begrudge giving them money, but for the same reasons as mentioned above, I want to see the game.

I went to Borehamwood one miserable Tuesday night a couple of seasons back as it really is very close by. Even if I could go tonight, I would not be bothering. In my mind they are the worst away ground I have been to for their attitudes to away fans and I really would not go again. I would rather drive to Dover, park in a hedge and walk up that steep hill!

Even the son in law, a southerner, thought they were overpriced and obnoxious. Think that may be his first and last experience of the NL with Chesterfield....

Maybe there National Lottery grant of £58/fan/game was realistic after all
