Just watching the BBC programme on sharks, and the Chinese love of shark fin soup were sharks are slaughtered just for the fins which sell for up to $650 a kilo

They slice of the fins and throw the shark back into the sea alive and bleeding to death

they think it gives everything from sexual potency to skin quality and is also thought to prevent heart disease, lower cholesterol and fight cancer.
