It should end now, no fair or easy way, but a final table based on points earned per game so far and goals for & against multiplied by total games ( if that keeps us up?)
Simply voiding it not on.
But, your equation does not take into account recent form compared to earlier form. We all know in the real game Easter can change everything. Barrow's recent form has had them looking over their shoulders. Harrogate's recent form has been a bit iffy as well. Meanwhile Notts County have been experiencing a surge whilst Yeovil were certain to lose against CFC on telly. Ebbsfleet's recent form has been very good but could Ugwu keep on scoring to save them from relegation bearing in mind the NL have not even made their minds up if 3 or 4 teams go down even though the EFL sorted their relegation & promotion decisions out months ago.
Then, we have European football competitions for the overspending big boys to balance their books with to consider. Never mind that there are Italian and Spanish clubs involved in these competitions. But eh, it's only a killer virus and these clubs need the money?????
There is not a fair way which will suit everybody. The ones at the tops and bottoms will argue until they are blue in the face but if we were still playing then other teams in the leagues or cups would be saying "it's not over yet" and that would include the Barrow supporters and management if they were 4th now.
