I have just paused my sky sports subscription on line

the channels are still available to watch as I have agreed for sky to automatically renew the subscription as soon as live sport recommences

I hope that makes the position clearer for others to do likewise

Why not cancel altogether and make sky consider the cash cow may be dying

**** the premiership and movies are available elsewhere

Plenty on free view Netflix and prime

They get little more off me than they would for the internet and landline given the deal I'm on.

Are you still subscribing to all the adult channels or sticking to the free ones?

Those trucker strength DVDs you got me are plenty enough thanks.

Do they still have those channels these days? I hid them on my Sky box years ago with having kids. Babestation used to have them hoovering up during the day didn't it?

Been trying to pause mine for over a hour, everytime impress the confirm button the screen shows the message.."we are experiencing technical difficulties, please try again later!"
I guess everyone has just realised they can do it so a bit of system overload.

I did it online on Friday. There was a holding page due to high demand at each step but it refreshed automatically so no big deal really.

It's a little cynical not to do it automatically for everyone and in doing so adding to their workload.

Would like it if BT Sport did the same. I'm on a fixed contract so can't even cancel.

That said I get my Sky TV, broadband etc all free through work so still better off than most
