It's a period of national emergency. The public have been asked to work together, to make sacrifices, to ignore all the underfunding of the past and hypocrisies of the present and do the right thing. And many are doing exactly that.
So why not ask those who've made vast profits from shortcomings in the NHS to temporarily donate life saving facilities?
PS: as for the wider debate, a key issue arises. If the government impose an official lockdown insurance companies become liable in many areas. But whilestever they leave it up to the individual, they don't. Hmmm...
