I think Mings has more or less cemented his starting place in the England set up.

Against a national side who'd do well to put this Town squad away? He's not even close to proving himself yet

It’s not rocket science. Close the ground for a substantial period of time. Make them play all matches abroad in neutral venues. Take attention away from them. Tiny fines don’t mean anything. Close the stadium would mean a substantial dent in the economy from visiting supporters booking hotels, bars, restaurants, etc.

Will uefa have the balls to do it? Probably not
Close the ground ?? This was an international surely any sanction should apply nationally. England were banned as a country.
God I hate this league.

Been at the game tonight and I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere more backwards in my life. Nearly 2am and we’re finally back in our hotel room after being kept in for an hour only to come out to be created by mobs of skinheads trying to fill us in

Didn’t manage to catch the match here in Atlanta, but seeing the highlights it has disgusted everyone around me!

The comments from the scumbag Bulgarian manager saying he heard nothing is contemptible

Yes, I've been. A lot. I work daily with Bulgarians and visited recently. I was surprised the behaviour was that bad, last night.

What I don't understand is why a large group of idiots left just before half-time. Were they beating the Bovril queue? The commentator didn't say if they returned. If they all left at that point then of course it smacks of a co-ordinated action, which if it had been in Russia (and bearing in mind Bulgaria is heavily mafia-blighted) would suggest the control of one powerful individual. I've no idea who that might be.
These go to eleven.

It looked pretty obvious to me that the group in black which is the uniform of the local CSKA Sofia mob were out looking for notoriety. judging by the tshirt they were holding up it was all well orchestrated beforehand.

They did leave and didn’t come back. Was definitely organised by a group (CSKA) we were told. Levski ultras were at the other side of the stadium and stayed throughout supporting the team.

There have been gangs running round in black / balaclavas etc all weekend trying to pick off England fans in small groups on their way back to hotels etc. Been a few injuries from lads just getting jumped etc.

We were followed back by about 8 meatheads last night, luckily we managed to run and take a shortcut and lost them but no doubt they were after one thing.

Weird place at night

Strange that he must be wondering why the match was stopped twice in the first half for announcements to be made yet as he didn't hear anything himself?

Does it not suggest that not only does he suffer from selective hearing but he might just be racist himself and, as such, thinks the behaviour of last night is in order.

England fans get a bad rep when we go abroad but that just sounds mental. Was there not some kind of escort to get you back or police presence?

To be opposed to mass immigration from Eastern Europe and opposed to the Islamification of Western Europe isn’t racism

Monkey chants to black people is though

I thought you’d be clued up enough to see the difference

I did fear the worst for fans when you saw that lot of Bulgarian "fans" leaving at half time. Commentators etc seemed to think they were being marched out over the chanting but it did seem far more like they'd done what they intended too during the first half and then were just leaving to get set up for England fans leaving after the game.

I see the head of the Bulgarian FA, and former Reading goalkeeper Bobby Mikhaillov has been told to resign by his Prime Minister to resign. I also see that he is persisting with his famous wig.
These go to eleven.

My thoughts too. Their body language gave the impression they were leaving of their own volition. Then the Bulgarian officials jumped on this exit has a face saver making out that they had orchestrated it. Load of b......

The left too easily for it to have come across as they had been told to leave by police etc. They were obviously leaving as they had decided too or someone they listen to who had orchestrated it had told them to leave.

I see the manager has also said his captain was out speaking to the fans to apologise for their performance first half not anything to do with asking them to stop the chanting!!

There are several things they need to do, but one of the simplest is to order the Bulgarian FA to incorporate a diverse culture into their structure, and make them select a minimum number of ethnic players regardless of results.
