I’m itching to take the young lad matches, but would not be want him to see mine and his club when it’s on it’s bottom and not far from life support.
I’f someone offered me the removal of this terrible board and owners and demotion to say the Northern Premier League Id snap both the hands off in an instance.

A new regime would naturally help re-establish the good days of 5 years ago.
In answer to your question Phil, I still go but know plenty who don't but would.
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
Never the twain shall meet.

I get a feeling something is about to happen especially given Phil’s post.
I only hope fans can see the magnitude of what any new owners will have to address with probably limited funds and clearing out contracted dross will take time and god knows what other “contracts” they may come across that need sorting. I would hope that any new owners provide fans with clear, short , medium and long term plans that fans can buy into and see any potential timescales for movement in the right direction. Exeter and Lincoln are two examples that spring to mind.
Like others have said on here, I still attend home games more out of keeping my collection of programmes, team sheets and ticket stubs up to date but it’s getting harder each game to justify given the poor quality and lack of effort on show.
Fans who have stayed away are no better or worse than those who have kept going. The one common denominator is a shared love and passion for a successful CFC and people have decided to show that differently.
I really hope all fans can come together under new owners to help get the club back where it belongs and to help me achieve a lifetime ambition before I die of seeing CFC in the second tier for at least one season.

I will always follow cfc but can't deny it is a real bind going to watch town,i know a few who think the same.i would gladly take relegation now only if it meant new, enthusiastic ownership.

I’d be back with about 20 others if we had new owners. Every game

I actually see this thread as a positive because I think implies something is afoot regarding new owners who are genuine and want the best for the club.
Thanks for posting Phil.

I'm part of a group of a good 20 or so town fans who no longer attend, having all previously held a season ticket. I'm confident some would return full time, for others it is probably too late to get them to commit to becoming ST holders but I bet most would turn up when they could. Some haven't been to a home game in 3/4 years.

I've no interest in the corporate simply because of the product on the field.
Should a consortium take over I would volunteer in any way that would be acceptable.
I have ideas to generate funds but realise that the current clowns couldn't run a raffle. Ahem...
I hope someone is testing the waters here but what fans have got to commit to is regular attendance should the early years be hard going. Any new consortium has to spell this out to the fans and be very open as to what lies ahead. No daft aspirations just keep it sensible and regular communications.
