I have always said that as soon as the current owner and his associates leave, I will buy a season ticket immediately, no matter what league we are in.

As for myself, I haven't stopped going but it certainly makes it easier to go the extra mile if you have faith in the people running the club.

The reason I’m posting again is simple, the club I love and have volunteered at for 42 years is dying. That’s not a position that I ever envisaged when we were being entertained by Paul Cook’s superb side, and whilst at that time I could see that we were more likely to have bad times rather than great times, a second straight relegation battle in the National League did not feature in any of my nightmare scenarios back then.
Our club (that’s OUR CLUB) has been run into the ground and trust in the governance and management capabilities is at an all-time low and continues to fall week by week. Crowds have plummeted after four years of declining results and many decisions, on and off the field, have baffled the majority.
That said, all I want to do at this stage is ask a question, aimed at fans that have been loyal regulars but now don’t come as often or even not at all.
The question is, if the club were to be wholly taken over by a consortium of genuine local supporters, would you consider returning on a more regular basis even if the immediate prospect of a significant upturn in results was not forthcoming?
If your answer is ‘yes’ the response is easy, but please add any comments that could help potential bidders formulate their plans.
If your answer is ‘no’ please say what would need to be implemented to encourage you to return.
I’m asking the question in good faith to potentially help out real and genuine interest in the club’s future wellbeing to enable pragmatic decisions and predictions to be made by a number of people who genuinely have an interest in getting the club back on track and returning to being a vital and respected part of the community once more.
Thanks in advance for any input, it will all be useful.
I’m off to AFC Fylde now (make a turn at Preston, seems ominous), I fear there will not be many there in Blue!!

YES.
I’d instantly buy replica shirts and stuff online, that same day, from the club shop. I’d buy tickets for games, even if I wasn’t able to attend
But while Carson remains at the club and while Allen still owns 83% not a penny will go to them

Obviously its important who the person is who would be running the club day to day. It would have to be someone totally trustworthy with a good strong team behind him (or her).

If it did happen, you could do a lot worse than put the only honest man at the club up as chairman. Jim Brown. They could also do the right thing an give a fully deserved Testimonial to.
Yes, Croot, Warner Coe, Kit man and others would also have to go. Nothing that represents or has supported the current regime can remain

I volunteered for the club too, prior to CT taking umbrigde with some of my comments on here regarding the circus over the road, and would happily volunteer again and help in any way I could.
My fire hasn't quite gone out, but its dwindling massively...

I thought at the end of last season we would be best served by one last push from Uncle Dave. That push has not happened. We started the season with one FB, no WB's, no wide midfielders and the same sh***y midfield as last season. The stubborn old goat will never learn.
So yes, I will come back under new ownership. But good intentions are not enough. We need competent people, with enough cash to keep us going. I used to buy the 50/50's, spend 20 notes on snap and beer, and will do so again. Miss the football a lot, but will never set foot in the Proact until all remnants of this rotten regime are gone.

The only Ass. Director prepared to engage with fans was Leslie who, it seems, dissapeared when her comments on one particular issues didn't match those of GB (was it the benches saga?)
Either she was chastised for such comments, or she had an epiphany and realised where she was...
