The club is not vile. The regime running it maybe but the club is Chesterfield football club and that is not vile by any stretch of the imagination.

My ambitions for football never amounted to much some I've seen Town at Wembley Town at Old Trafford,Goodison, Anfield on a more personal note I wanted to see town in the championship and got two go's at it Mr Cox Mr Cook thanks for trying. When we dropped out the league I just wanted to see them back in there. Now I've just lowered that I just want my club back

As most of you are aware Both I and my business plowed money into CFC for years, I do know how much but have no need to say as I feel ashamed of how much over the past 10 years.<br /> I used to have 6 season tickets 4 in Legends Lounge and 2 in VP lounge even though there was only my wife and myself who used to regularly attend I always let people who could not afford to go use the other tickets, I then changed to having 4 VP tickets and used to let people use the 2 spare ones. After I sold the business I introduced the buyers to CFC and they started sponsoring shirts, signs etc, I sincerely hope they forgive me.
I stopped being a season ticket holder a couple of season ago and last season just went occassionally This season I have not attended any home games and I will not be attending any functions or anything that is held at the Proact my reasoning is that I absolutely refuse to Finance the Demise of my Football Club

He says he got no emails, and why didn't he approach him in person at the game - I suggested that fans might want a paper trail of the conversation, knowing the club as it is.

He used his work email, as it was a Chesterfield related matter. I've questioned whether it is merely points scoring with the aid of work resources.

I e mailed GB asking what he hoped to achieve by his actions on 21st and 30th of September and the 5th of October when I saw him on his phone at the match, I have still had no reply

He's doing exactly what he was employed to do.

Some saw it from the off. Some thought he was a convivial breath of fresh air. A man who would listen. Glad we've cleared that one up!

I have just rang the club and spoke to Graham Bean who said he had not received any of the e mails I sent him despite the fact that I received an out of office reply for the first one of the three I sent , he said he was not trying to get me in trouble but was making a FOI request because they were entitled to because of the e mail address I had used .

Other than to put the wind up you, for what reason or benefit did the club submit a FOI request?

I worked in this sort of IT area for years. If you receive an out of office reply then the recipient has DEFINITELY received the email. Whether they choose to read it or discard it is another matter, but they would have to do one of the two.

Well it's reassuring to know that all the important things that our football club needs to sort out must have been done if he's got the time to do a FOI investigation into an email. This football club is embarrassing.

Does he still think he's a copper? Maybe he's struggling to adjust and needs to talk to someone.

So..
Bean's case is that if this email has been copied to 3rd parties then he has the right to know their names, because oldgoat used somebody else's computer.
Is that right?
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

As I understand it the FOI Act relates to public sector organisations only.

An FOI request that seeks to find out 'if X had communicated with anyone else about Y' probably warrants the addition of 'using a (public sector) work email' or ' as an employee of the (public sector) organisation'

As has already been said, it's probably been dealt with by the organisation as a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection regulations

The implication from the request may be that the relevant email was sent from / on behalf of the public sector organisation and that the data is therefore owned and stored by the public sector organisation rather than the individual - and therefore can be subject to an FOI request.

Some public sector organisations use closing banners or similar to give information about their emails. It would be interesting whether or not this organisation one does this and if so, what it states about the content of emails and data protection etc.

Hopefully all remains good with the OP.

Just another example of the morals and conduct of the filth that run and own our club. If only they had anyone who claimed to be experts in I.T or the latydata protection laws.....
A new hope.

This is a disgraceful stunt, he urinates in the same pot as his buddies, nothing slightly in common with a typical fan.

Someone needs to send this link to his email address, bypass the grass.
Harty is my hero.
