The club is not vile. The regime running it maybe but the club is Chesterfield football club and that is not vile by any stretch of the imagination.

Yet "Brainless Stephen" gets a kind of slaying on another page of this site, one gets closer to home and reads this. That's why I described this club just like a rotten Renault 14 last night.
That's also why there is no likelihood the club will be sold soon...
Have to choose words carefully here...

I would be very grateful if you would show Mr Bean this message.
Mr Bean,
I have chosen to stay away from the controversy surrounded by the clubs owners in the past simply because (regardless of the poor results) I enjoy going to watch my team play football. Although I don't expect you to understand this, if my team score a goal there's a release of excitement that can't really be matched by anything at all. As I've said the results have been poor and the performances on the pitch have been poorer still, they show no sign of improving and falling attendances are not only putting our small but (in our eyes) great community club into yet a worse financial position. But when we have such a great stadium that is capable of holding 10,000+ supporters with facilities that most clubs in league one could only wish for only managing to gather a sprinkling of 3,000+ supporters then it's clear for all to see that your job as the person who deals with the day to day running of the club is failing.
You said that you wanted to build bridges with supporters and to be fair, on occasions, it has been mentioned on here that you have spoken with people in the lounges and got some answers to some questions. However, your handling of the case concerning the punishment handed out to the supporter after his feud with our club captain was clearly heavy handed and the correct punishment was handed down on appeal oversaw by others. The decision of raising the cost of season tickets so you can serve up a team that has taken us to the dizzy heights of 22nd in the National league was clearly another poor decision. Then of course there's the reporting of a supporter to his employer about using a company email address which I personally believe is not only a massive own goal in your "building bridges" venture but one that can only be described as a lowdown, dirty stunt that could have resulted in a supporter of the club losing his job. This is a fellow human being that could possibly have lost everything he had and for what? Does it give you somekind of kick that you can send a message out to the supporters that you can scare them into not having opinions?
I am currently a season ticket holder and I take my son, this will be the 10th year we both have had
season tickets together. We have been in the corporate on special days and my son has been a mascot. Every match we go to I buy 50/50 tickets along with drinks.
This is now going to stop.
This is now going to be our final season of watching our club fail whilst you choose to go after supporters, attempting to make them lose their jobs.
Of course we will return once the club has been purchased by a supporter friendly regime who value their customers financial input but until that day comes (hopefully) our contributions to the club will dwindle to nothing.
I won't thank you for your time that it has taken for you to read this message because you need to understand that this is written with such a heavy heart and just to clarify these opinions are my own and do not represent the opinions of anybody else especially of my employer!
Great post
Glad you’ve finally seen sense.

Why the hell did I renew our season tickets, this is no longer the club I love.
I haven't had a season ticket for a good few years but I still went regularly, virtually every home game. The chances are I will never purchase a season ticket again unless a new owner has a good method of convincing me I should. I will now never go unless I get a freebie.
I never thought I would be in a position where I literally don't care but here I am. Its not down to a lack of passion, I have that in bucket loads, its down to the fact the club is not worth spending my money on anymore.
When I read stories like this it makes my blood boil, what I find more frustrating is that when a fellow, long standing supporter is treated like this, many of his fellow supporters turn a blind eye and carry on going to support those who treat fans like trash.
I know many say "By going I'm supporting the team not those running the club" but I really don't see it that way. All the money people spend on season tickets, pay on the day and to buy food etc on the concourses is going to be managed and wasted by those bringing the club down. Its giving them extra time in post.

I’ll be back when they’re gone, and I’m whatever form CFC exists, in whatever league I don’t care. Just want a club back we can all get behind and support

Well said, I am 100% with you. No more season tickets from me. Sickened by the on field performance and now the off field antics.

Not sure why you have been negged for saying that.
You've been more recently than me (August 2017 my last game). It makes me very sad to not go and watch Town but it makes me sadder watching the club imploding, and as a fan, I have very little power. Taking away my financial support, if not my love of the club as an institution, is what I have chosen to do. I'm obviously not alone.

Being Chesterfield folk don't be played by deedahs, make a stand resign, the position is untenable anyway.
Oh and when you read this GB them f'in adverts are still on the dugouts, making one wonder what value to put on your pacifying rhetoric at the speakeasy.
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
Never the twain shall meet.

He used his work email, as it was a Chesterfield related matter. I've questioned whether it is merely points scoring with the aid of work resources.

I had e mailed Graham Bean regarding a couple of matters this year , firstly about the banning orders after boxing day perhaps causing problems for those wanting to go to blood donor sessions and more recently regarding issues buying concessionary tickets online , the discussion about the issues buying tickets ended with Mr Bean sending a reply which was not to be shared with anyone - I didn't - I just put on Bobs board that Mr Bean had replied but I couldn't share it .
He also commented that he felt I shouldn't be using a " public service " e mail address , after which I contacted him using my personal e mail address not my work one .
However a couple of weeks ago my employer said they had been contacted by Mr Bean complaining about me using my work e mail address and wanting to know if I had communicated with anyone else about him , I contacted Mr Bean and he told me it was a FOI request but would tell me no more , he suggested I ask my employer .
My employer has seen all the e mail communication I had concerning Mr Bean and find I have done nothing wrong however they suggest I use my personal e mail account when communicating with Mr Bean , which I had already done after his comments regarding " public service " e mails .
I was reluctant to air this issue on Bobs board but after repeated requests asking Mr Bean what he was trying to achieve by this action and receiving no reply I felt I was left with little option other than to nudge Mr Bean into answering my question - what was he trying to achieve by this action because it was not a pleasant experience .
I am genuinely intrigued how any Labour supporting person, whose default position is to consider the NHS to be underfunded can justify sending in a FOI request of this nature and in doing so wasting valuable resources.
I am being naughty now, so please forgive me. In a professional capacity, how would you characterise the CEO's behaviour?
