One of my favourite grounds visited, North Sea lapping up behind terrace

I wasn’t aware of the ground and it’s proximity to the sea. Looking at the images on the net, I can see why it would be one of your favourites. Looks like a ‘Links’ football ground’. I can imagine home players know how to deal with a strong wind.

My first ever holiday abroad as a young thruster to Ibiza I got acquainted with a girl from Arbroath, that's all I know about the place!

Sounds like the fishing boat made it to the harbour

Caldwell doesn’t have a job!

I thought he had escaped after an appalling liner decision gifted his team a point in their last match, but nope. Onwards and upwards for the Jags, and who knows where for Caldwell? Will he cling onto the merry-go-round?
These go to eleven.

There are ambitious non-league sides in Scotland such as Kelty Hearts and East Kilbride who might eventually be daft enough to be seduced by his 'ex-international, ex-Celtic' status and look past his inability to manage football teams.
These go to eleven.

Incredible that anyone was foolish enough to give him a job after his record here

When he was appointed he told them some porkies which were included in the initial Partick statement which they were then forced to rescind at the request of our great CFC moral guardians, IIRC.

In Caldwell’s defence, there are mitigating circumstances in his having been sacked from all three of his managerial jobs so far: he is not very good at football management.
These go to eleven.

Gary Caldwell was unpopular with the Jags fans. Can you believe that?

In March, centre forward Kris Doolan was inducted into the Firhill Hall of Fame. A few months later Caldwell gave him a free transfer. That he had got rid of the fans' favourite player, apparently because he was 32, was bad enough; Caldwell then replaced him with 39 year old Kenny Miller.

The smart money now must be on Miller becoming the Jags' new manager.

They should’ve listened to us but it’s Nice to see Partick Thistle survive the Gary Caldwell experience

To be fair to the bloke Scotland are an absolute dog mess of an International side so he probably is more qualified to manage them!

Excuses. Didn't he say the same thing whilst here? Isn't this the reason why Carson brought his Facebook buddy in to recruit lower league players?
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

As if there is much of a difference between League one players and Scottish Championship, clutching at straws in citing his playing career is relevant.

Caldwell’s managerial style has just one flaw. It takes no account of an opposing manager who might try to win football matches.
A new hope.

That's given me a huge sense of deja-vu - didn't he do very similar interview sometime before?

But anyway, after success with a Championship budget in L1 he was axed by Wigan, won only three out of thirty-odd with us and has now been shown the door at 'Thistle.

Gary, seriously; people are trying to tell you summat, here...
