Which first teamers missed yesterday injured? Hollis, Maguire, Denton, Spyrou, Gerrard?
Unless Spyrou is special then it's not a bunch that will improve us much anyway.

What in bejesus name have the coaches been doing to have so many players injured for the FIRST game of the season?

Wtf

if Gerard plays we don't lose the game. interesting comment, is he really going to be needed that much to organise? i'll raise again (sorry) the issue of wedgbury, from what I've seen of him he is a player that organises and demands. I can only assume he is not fit, he seems to tick many of the boxes otherwise, albeit this is from limited viewing of him but i'll say again if he can't get a game ahead of weir and Weston... well i'm not sure why.

Wedgebury must be given his chance after yesterdays pathetic offerings from Weir and Weston.

Are you sure Gerrard injury isn't political - I have heard he has been spirited away to a heath farm and is currently on a diet of cucumber juice and as much celery as he can eat

Wishful thinking but seriously if you are paid to play football you have a duty to keep yourself fit. If you don't you are taking the p ish out of your employers and the fans

It is apparent that semi pro football is not equal and is smoke and mirrors
