well if they havent got a facility to scan from phone then that is an issue they will have to deal with. The world is going paperless, had you not realised? I dont print bits of paper to get on a plane or go to a concert. If CFC insist then they might have to put up with printing it!
The world is going paperless? Still more like wishful thinking than reality may I suggest?.
Just done two flights this week and saw the occasional person using their phone for the boarding pass, but I would not say it has taken off and is the norm as yet. Suspect it is the regular business passengers who are using the new technology mostly, from what I observed. One off travellers and holidaymakers still seem to use paper passes, maybe too big a leap of faith to make until they are familiar and confident with the new electronic systems? I will make a point of looking around again on Wednesday morning, to see if I can get a better estimate of numbers using phones instead of paper passes, it will give me something to do to pass the time. We have been told that we are going paperless since the mid-eighties that I can remember, how do others think it is really happening today?
