[Waller is my hero]

Going to be the first time in 4 years since I went to a first match of the season (due to work & living in France), & I’m excited for the season to start. That last time was the best season ever in my 30 odd years supporting Chesterfield, under cookie.

I genuinely think we’re in for an exciting one, always got to stay positive, but I think that dog poo past 3 years is behind us & Shezza will get us flying again.

Yep got to say I’m excited for tomorrrow, probably heightened cos there’s been no euros or world cup this summer, need my footy fix.

Looking forward to catching up with old faces I’ve not seen since April and having a few beers.

Just hope we have something to shout about this season. Have to say I thought we’d be starting with a better looking squad than we are, but hey ho we’ve got we’ve got, let’s hope it’s good enough and we can add some decent loans if we need to.

Big day in the year, the first game of the season. If anybody doesn't get a buzz out of it they might as well just give up and go shopping.
I was going for a big season of mindless optimism, as it causes the maximum amount of annoyance, but I've got a feeling that it might not last beyond half time. Just be the normal optimism after that.
