Can probably add Scott Griffiths and Deane Smalley to the good list...both big parts of the title winning team under Sheridan.

Grifftiths already on my list

Good shout re: Smalley though

Declan John, too.

Worst one for me had to be Colin Ross, played 6 games on loan from Middlesborough I think an got sent off twice, including at Bramall Lane. Year we went down, 1982-83 season.

One of the worst has to be Ryan Fulton (The Liverpool goalie on loan). Very painful too watch

Shrewsbury away when they had a string of corners. Ugh. How they took that many to eventually force one over the line, I'm not sure.

Always thought Steve Kendall and Calvin Plummer were a breath of fresh air in a crap town side 82/3 plus Steve Kinsey who added a bit of craft.

Leon Clarke did alright in his brief loan spell during our relegation season. 9 in 14.

Add Jack Mackay to the worst for obvious reasons. Will not be remembered.

James Hurst from West Brom one of the worst defensive loanees ever. Traipse all the way up to Carlisle for him to lose us the game by wrongfooting Tommy with a simple backpass so their forward can walk it into the goal.

Josh Thompson from Celtic not far behind. Absolute dross.

Lots of good ones listed above. Can we add

Jack Hunt quality if we are including Scott Griffiths.

Bad ones The Goal Machine Gary Madine was dreadful for us

He was absolutely quality. Just purely by coincidence but I seen that Besiktas are after him earlier.

Sat with my brother in the east stand and he went down under a challenge, somewhat theatrical in manner.....the woman in front said, they are very flamboyant the Italians aren’t they.

I laughed out loud, she looked at me with a puzzled expression.
A new hope.

Worst...Tope Obadeyi

Lightning fast, shame he always failed to take the ball with him.

Didn't we have Billy Mercer on loan before signing him? One of my favorite keepers
