We do have an Aldershot based Spireite, who I first met in Sofia (Bulgaria) a couple of years back, he's applied to join this message board so may post later

What he has told me is the La Fontaine Pub is now closed and the nearest to the ground is the Royal Staff, he's going to check out if it's away fan friendly. Train station is a short walk to the ground.

It would be nice to hear that chant they had a few years ago when we won 2-0, “let’s pretend we’ve scored a goal” followed a roar and scenes of wild celebrations when the pretend equaliser went in. The “2-0 and you f**ked it up” was funny as well but I never understood why the pretend comeback stopped at 2-2; they obviously lacked ambition

Allen's (different spelling to Alan) local s the Garden Gate, which is only 10 mins walk away, he'll be there from 1pm, somebody buy him a pint for me as I can't make it today.
