Its fashionable to get offended by stuff these days.....presumably by the same extent you shouldnt use the term white coffee? Should Costa etc be able to advertise the "Flat White"!?

Cant think of many grounds these days where they have gates in the gaps, the majority are just gaps and the hoardings. I suspect the issue is that we need to "patrol" them much much better.

This issue is all down to a laxadazical approach to stewarding, just keep the walk way appron clear of congregating supporters and the situation is safe and controlled. Someone has to stand up and be counted, a firmer attitude has to prevail. Maybe someone has to pay the price.

Stewarding cost is obviously a consideration but a penny wise approach has now cost the club the cost of sheeting off the first 3 rows of seating; what ever fine they get with subsequent costs plus I guess added outside security firm to bolster our stewards especially in the South stand area.

Hopefully we will learn from now being involved with 2 serious incursions involving the visiting goal keeper - I just get the feeling that time will lapse and we could see us re visiting this or similar senarios.

God I hate this league.

Folk congregating on walkways towards end of games has been an issue pretty much since we moved to the new ground. Yes there have been some bigger crowds where you may need to do it to get away but lets be honest currently with the crowds we have its hardly difficult to get out of the ground. For me if you want to get out then go and if you stand in the walkways you should be shifted on. If nothing else it potentially blocks the views of others who are staying in their seats. If its also leading to situations like on Saturday then even more reason for it to be dealt with going forward. The fact it may be easy to get on the pitch isnt the problem, its folk thinking its ok to do it and if we're honest they'd probably still think it was ok and try to do it with stewarding and gates in the gaps.

My comment about the word 'manned' was facetious. I'm against any kind of discrimination, but some individuals take pc to ludicrous extremes. By the way, have Black Magic chocolates been banned? I haven't noticed any for years, I used to love them.

Nestle product. I never buy their stuff. Evil company with a long rap sheet (Africa baby milk, draining villages' water dry, claiming water is not a human right etc).
These go to eleven.

I give you Scunthorpe as the ideal way to manage the terracing apart from this being the away end.

Older stadium though despite being a "new build", was opened 22 years before the Proact...have regulations changed at all since that was built? They have the wall with gates i believe whereas the Proact plus most of the stadiums built around the same time just have gaps and no wall or a wall that can be stepped over.

Probably plenty of others that are the same if you can be bothered to look.

The country is run by lawyers who know the value of words. If you can make a word mean anything you want it to mean you're in control.
George Orwell warned us about it 50 years ago.
Over the top example, but it's where PC is taking us.

Those examples are stupid and you’re within your rights to be wound up by them. Personally though I don’t have a problem with using the word staffed instead of manned.

If your referring to the Bristol university slave trade thing, there no evidence what so ever to support it.
A new hope.
