You are having a bit of a joke, but it is a valid point. What exactly is malicious communication and who is the judge and jury when it comes to deciding whether or not the communication is an accurate description of the individual it is directed towards?

Does malicious confrontation - sorry communication apply when someone visits you at work and threats are made

I recall a certain Armand Gnanduillet being booked as a sub for going on the pitch when JOS scored at Burton to seal promotion. And this was by a metre or so and for a joyous celebration, not running half the length of the pitch to join a melee like the one which ensued on Saturday!

And lets not forget the abuse Armand got at the delightful port vale resulting in some disturbing scenes. Did they get their wrists slapped?

Good point, can’t find anything about Vale being punished, just the individuals involved arrested and charged

I guess the best we could hope for is a fine and a suspended points deduction. That might at least make the would-be transgressors on the pitch think twice before doing this again.
On the alleged racial abuse, if fans at saying it didn't happen, is it possible that supporters can send witness statements to the club and/or FA contradicting what has been alleged? Or, do the FA not accept the word of supporters as unbiased and impartial?
. Also an allegation from a serial cry wolf complainant who last night posted on Facebook a video clip who he thought was from Saturdays match. Soon deleted it when he realised he'd fooked up. Getting dogs abuse about it from his own fans on the Vanarama fans page.

Seriously though from the news clips and social media clips there is no evidence of an assault by the lad on the keeper - that would surely have surfaced by now. Admittedly they both end up in a heep and one guy behind the goal has said that happened by the goal pulling the lad over by hooking him between the legs. I know but still no intentional or accidental assault.

So no evidence of assault, no evidence of racial abuse so the enquiry is over 2 pitch encroachment of differing circumstances.
God I hate this league.

I've read a lot of your posts on here and each one makes less sense than the last. What on earth are you going on about?

Apologies for the rubbish that members have had to endure and the part I have played in taking this subject off topic.

You should really know better. 🙂

I recall he lost his job at the club for going on the pitch to celebrate promotion with the players at Oxford.

Its crazy that either a lifetime ban or more will be the only thing that stops some people from offending over and over.
Careful the RSPCA read this site.

You need to look up the definition of assault in UK law - any unwanted contact can be construed as assault, it does require a punch.

It may have resulted in handbags but given the circumstances I’d be worried if I was Ashley :)

You and I may say that, but the problem is that the TV and papers all seem to have as as headline ‘video appears to show fan kicking/punching/attacking keeper’, with the video of Ashmore’s head nodding down as he’s approached and then being jumped on. I’m not sure the FA will disagree with the headline writers.

It doesn't require a punch. Assault can involve fear of being attacked.

Indeed, missed the ‘not’ after ‘does’ hence my point about Ashley should be worried

I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t get charged

It's too easy for fans to get on the pitch at a dysfunctional club like Chesterfield.

Nathan ashmore actually retweeted and replied to a video saying ‘there it is , all the evidence you need, end of #kickitout’ clearly thought it was a video of a town fan being racist but was informed it was an ebbsfleet fan being racist and he deleted the video and comment and put his account on private. The guys a helmet. Surely racism is racism and unacceptable whether it’s supporter of any club even if it’s your own?

Sorry if it’s been mentioned already 👍🏽

Speaks volumes that, there's an incident being investigated, that even with his "antics" he will certainly be looked upon as the victim, and rather than lie low and let it take its course he has to get involved on social media. The club should be highlighting the racist chant from the Ebbsfleet fan as well.
