I have never heard of Basford either the team or the place. Where is it?

I assume that doesn't include Basford fans. That is a lot more than I thought.

5ish minutes from jct26. At 3rd island going into Nottingham (where the hotels are) hang a left then a right ground on left, hidden but up small drive. If you get to the Mill pub, you've missed it.
Just in case there's a replay, if they do them.

I just looked at their ground on google maps. It's a field. There are no stands, seating or even railings around the pitch. Is this how low we have sunk? It makes me feel sick. If we don't beat them by at least 3 goals we might as well give up, fold the team, sell the ground and build a supermarket there.

Will be an old pic, I went in September to watch Matlock, they've got a small stand, some covered standing areas and railings, which of course is a pre-requiste for the league they are in (only 2 steps below us) they also have a 4G pitch.

More basic, but they are ambitious and a good team, they beat Matlock 6-0 3 days after the Staveley defeat

No doubt he doesn’t buy a ticket so when he is there he is an extra...

It's Saturday. It's football day with all it's excitement and anticipation. Town are at home to.....Basford..... and for the first time in my Town supporting life I have zero interest. Anybody else understand how I feel? Surely I can't be the only one.

The record will be set for the lowest Saturday crowd since the Victorian days.

Will be strange going to the ground on match day and turning round and going home. Good on them that are going in but I cannot go in this is as low as it gets for me.

Yep, me too. Trouble is, it is beginning to feel the same every Saturday.
