If he's Chief Executive, what titles did Turner and Dunford hold before their positions were made redundant?

Is he planning to introduce himself to the fans on Saturday.

Or has he been employed as the next scapegoat as the club has run out of them

A discharged bankrupt.

Pre-requisite of being employed at the club now, it seems.

Turner was director of football
Dunford's contract was up, not made redundant

Typical of posters on here, give the guy a chance. Haven’t you heard the saying it’s who you know not what, most businesses operate like this. They know this guy and he has good experience in football clubs. His past failures doesn’t mean he won’t be a good appointment. Will be interesting in seeing if he does get Carson out of the day to day decision making process, I hope he does for the clubs sake.

It's the "who you know" appointments that's been a few..king massive issue at this club the last few years. Genuine, loyal supporters and employees discarded and paid off to be replaced by lackies, sycophants and less than desirables.... get yourself down on Saturday and let's not let go.

What's up - didn't your old man give you a heads-up so you could put another bet on?

It's as though Carson walks into that bar from Star Wars and shouts 'Anyone want a job?' whenever he needs another recruit...

Actually according to his own linkedin profile he's only worked within one football club, Newport County for a very short period and done some consultancy work for Leeds. His expertise is in regulatory matters, this is not to say he won't be successful as a CEO if he's allowed to manage, but this appears to be a cosmetic appointment
