pure guesswork but I got/get the impression that Caldwell trains teams completely oblivious to the fact that at the weekend there will be opposition who also have a game plan, I always felt he was completely arrogant in his approach whilst at town

You have to think that, when the manager says ‘we are nearly there, we are getting better’ after yet another defeat/miserable draw, it’s equivalent to the toddler’s response when asked if they have found what they are looking for.
‘Nearly’ they are known to respond. Which has as much meaning as the said managers’ quote.

Probably just coincidence that the fall out with directors re interest etc, then the infamous walkout at the AGM came at just the time when supporters were genuinely starting to question the day to day running of the club and other off field issues were starting to appear.
