I regard it with affection as a perfect, concise, description. Is anybody in any doubt about the mind picture it portrays?

I suppose though if you find it offensive then I'll drop it.

To read the post match quotes of some our opposition managers, you’d think we have some of the hairiest assed players. ‘Physical’ Typical Martin Allen team’. ‘Direct’

Wonder if expiry/renewal of building lease was a factor. After all betting etc is heading online in the main.

The rumour I heard was that he sold the London one because if not the Gambling Commission were going to impose some form of fine or sanction for not abiding by the relevant rules.

But as I say, just rumour going around the industry, I have connections who work in it and passing on what they hear...

When he first took over I worked with a Wednesday fan, who said he’d probably be ok for us, at our level, revenues level of investment needed etc...but that he was a dissaster for them because he didn’t have/wouldn’t spend the sort of money needed to make a significant difference, but was intransigent in his attitude, insisting the club be run profitably etc yet the debts seemed to be increasing.......and significantly he said “one thing is for sure though, Dave Allen won’t lose money personally.....he will get his money back”[b]

In fairness to the man himself, he has told us that he does not do failure.

Just seen the goal conceded. When do we ever learn from corners dog Bunkum defending.

As it stands, hasn’t he lost money at S6, which he will only recoup if Wednesday are promoted to the Premier League?
Can I make a suggestion to him? He sells our club for half a million, with the proviso the buyer pays him a further £20M once we are promoted to the Championship.

Did you actually go as lindave did, because you're talking two different games? The radio commentary stressed that the 3 forwards were moving very well but let down by the midfield who were finding the right passes but couldn't quite get the pace right; and it sounded as if we were on top for large parts of the game. Might have been biassed but they usually tell it more or less like it is, and it bore no relation to what you saw.

So how did you see last nites game, as all I saw was pretty much what happened satdi, or did the radio make it sound better??
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Oh yes
Perhaps if you have a word with some of you old school mates, JS, DJ, AW (If you get any sense out of the later it would be a miracle) they could guide you.
