Had to laugh at the "new Ryan Morsy duo". Not that Carter (decent player in there possibly) is anything like either of them. Why on earth would Martin Allen want players like them? He doesn't do midfield 😀

Only because we haven't got one at the moment, there will never be another Sam / Jimmy midfield duo unless we get back in the EFL.

You must have been pizzed up he was as solid as a rock. He did one crunching tackle stopping them breaking through, 3 mins later his horrible injury occurred. It wasn't the JBW sending off that lost us the game, but the injury which weakened our midfield, MA said the same at Dronfield the other week when we spoke to him at ht.

Based on some of the XI’s you suggest on here I will stick to my views on the game my friend and to suggest anyone was solid against Barrow when they cut through us numerous times in the first 30 minutes is pushing it. I love your positivity and dedication for this club but don’t let it cloud what happens on the pitch.

The games he did play you could see that he could read the game well and get stuck in, he was motm at Barrow until he got injured. I thought he and Cater were going to be the new Ryan / Morsey midfield duo. MA said that he and Charlie were massive losses.

They were Dave but they certainly ain't a Ryan/Morsy midfield.

I just wonder who'll be scapegoated this time.

We saw Dave Trump walk out rather than discuss the catalogue of scandals on Sheff Road, scandals that his appointments paid for with their jobs.

Though bizarrely the one widely viewed as his main henchman remains in situ.

We then watched, amidst jaw dropping disbelief, as he publicly re-wrote reality.

Infact the bloke whose football club had just suffered successive relegations - to the point of finishing bottom of the entire football league - declared 'I don't do failure'.

Well this manager's his man. Hired because of his direct attitude. Whilst the owner who used to champion entertainment ignored his reputation for direct football. So this time the pigeon fancier's nowhere to go.

Apart from out, perhaps.

I'm led to believe he's recently closed a business in Sheff and offloaded another in London - which clearly begs the question of what's different in Town's case? When will it all become more trouble than it's worth? Will the Proact doors be locked rather than admit the failure he 'doesn't do'?

Sadly, that increasingly looks like the only way this ongoing nightmare will end...

Wonder if expiry/renewal of building lease was a factor. After all betting etc is heading online in the main.
God I hate this league.

who was at fault for their goal?

Jimmy McGuigan, for coming up with the near post corner, flick on, routine. But on this occasion, it looked as though one of your favoured players Mr Bradley Barry should kd have 'picked up' the scorer.

So why hasn't he replaced him? Or is Smith the new midfield gaffer?!

You do ask a lot of questions!!

Because he can and it’s the place for it.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

I hope you are wrong but it wouldn't surprise me.
If he keeps his place when Evans is fit again then I despair. We have to go on a winning run and I don't associate him with that kind of backbone.

Rowley is getting rave reviews. Are you suggesting Allen has got him playing in an unorthodox fashion? Star man but being continually bypassed. That takes some doing.

You think Joe making good progress in that role means we have an effective midfield. I don't agree.

Well, it looks like he wasn't to blame. What we have is a woeful lack of back post organisation at a very early corner kick. There has to be a major inquest in to why the bludddy hell that zone was empty and the consequence is that we once again have Weston trying unsuccessfully to compete with a bluddy gret hairy assed CH. Exactly the same problem as occurred in the 97th minute t'other week. An organiser has got to appear from somewhere, perhaps the goalkeeper and/or a new captain.

I regard it with affection as a perfect, concise, description. Is anybody in any doubt about the mind picture it portrays?

I suppose though if you find it offensive then I'll drop it.
