Of course, that suddenly makes MA a great manager doesn't it
? THE QUALITY OF THE MANAGER IS NOT THE MAIN FACTOR IN OUR PRESENT SITUATION.

We can’t trust them to employ someone better anyway , they’ve had numerous opportunities to get the right man in since cook , they are incompetent bells who’ve employed wet wipes , given decent budgets to most of them as well. May as well stick and all just pray he gets it right.

Clearly I’m at a different game. It’s not great but there’s been some decent football at times that half.

How many of this squad were not brought in by Martin Allen. How many of those he did bring in are better than what we had?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Anybody noticed that Blackpool starters today are Dodoo at no 11 and Armand at no 21. Some people on here thought that Armand was dodoo when he was here. Bonnyman and me didn’t. We’d take him back right now!

Exactly. And don’t forget the donkey signings and god-awful football to boot. And total lack of goals. And lack of perceptible improvement, whatever MA claims. TBH, I just want him to do one. Give Mad Dog a grenade between his teeth and tell him to take out them poor excuses for human beings upstairs.

Every single CFC supporter is well aware of the dire situation we are in, which nobody seeks to deny. I do, however, have two problems with your stance; one is that, when you are desperate, as we are, the quality of the football is of secondary importance. The other is that, if you can't detect a noticeable improvement between our last 7 games and the previous 7, you are not looking very carefully.

Barry, Binnom-Williams, Anyon, Rowley & Maguire. If we're just talking this match day squad.

To be fair I did not rate him but in this league he would hit 30 plus, it was a good side back then

It's noticeable... but barely. We hardly create a chance, we have very little plan, it's a grind to watch and it doesn't work.

For some reason, I have formed an image of you marching up and down the Acropolis with chin rubbed in deep contemplation with one hand while swigging a fast-depleting bottle of ouzo with the other. Far from the truth?

Wish I was there, btw

Hallam, sign him up

Great tradition of strikers scoring on debut. Think Phil Cliff and Steve Downes. Both went on to.... er.....
This guy might be different though.

Didn't include him as a technicality, he hadn't played for a previous manager in the first team.

Since the opening few matches, we always seem to play with the handbrake on. Has it been that way today?
These go to eleven.

Thanks for that I would rather take that opinion of the match so far rather than some on here who might never have even seen us play this season

No, sadly I can’t look that carefully from 8,000 miles away. But my point is that if we have to endure such atrocious football (from clips on YouTube, reading on here and listening to live commentary, btw) at a level which MA and yourself may deem it necessary but in which others with a far lower budget have - by all accounts - outplayed us, we should be getting results - especially from a seasoned “winner” much quicker than 18 games no win. I don’t call that sufficient improvement, personally, especially when we’ve just dipped into the bottom 4.
