I wouldn’t be surprised if many hired legal people have prevented good stories coming to the surface

And I agree that we should perhaps do some screenshotting of our own: how about everyone printing off, say, twenty copies of this article, distributing them amongst Saturday's crowd then paper-planing them on to the pitch at a pre-arranged time?

Best Answer: I work for Experian credit reference agency,(UK)

No one can run a credit check on you without your consent.
However,company's can check with credit ref agency to verify your identity (electoral role) so if you have give any details of your address and or you have been using a credit card or debit card for gambling etc.Then this would explain the search,also note, they do not have access to your financial status if only requesting information for the purpose of ID checking.
