It really is a situation...an unthinkable one at that...we’re we have lost 8 out of 10 winless games against part time non league teams!!
Last year it was the ‘lowest of the low’.......how can we describe this??
Unbelievable, unthinkable ridiculous to comprehend!!!

In case anyone missed it, Weir got injured at the end of the first half, leading to them scoring and was subbed off. Kayode on.

Has nobody in the ground kicked up a fuss? I’m absolutely gutted here reading the commentary text. Club can’t be far off having the curtains draw

I'm weighing up whether to stage a one-man pitch invasion and have a snooze on the pitch, second half. What's the worst that can happen? Ban me? Please do- spare me this torment.

Pemberton will be in charge very soon I’d assume.

Allen is a motivator though, the best there is

It seems to be the club itself that’s just rotten and no one can change it

The budget is towards the higher end, the players have done it before, the manager has done it before but the decline, it’s just irreversible

Like I’ve said on another thread, the worst that can happen is they give you a ticket to the next home game.

You've mentioned the key word - quality.

Player sales and exits saw quality leave to be replaced by lesser talent. Then more sales, more exits and still less talent. So on and so on.

I'm not gonna make a h-ypocrite of myself here (see what I did there?) because I believed Allen was the poor man's Pulis, yet this summer saw nobodies arrive from nowhere.

Certainly no quality.

The standard of football has since gone the same way and will continue to do so until quality arrives.

If there's still a CFC left by then, of course...

Lesser talent? Blimey, not even h again could spin this side as talented.

I laughed at Boreham Wood, beacuase it was so bad it was, really, laughable as my first game this season, almost a practicle joke, you know? Like you do when your Sunday league mate asks you to come and watch a game.

I sat with a daggers ST holder who’s ambition was survival following a take over - and didn’t laugh, because it wasn’t funny anymore.

And no doubt, I’ll be sat in the Maidstone end with a mate of mine who’s a local, and won’t be laughing either. He’s from Rochester, and will probably end up moaning at me for making him watch such crap.
A new hope.

I watch Maidenhead every fortnight. A bunch of honest triers with a crap ground, poor pitch and Sunday League changing rooms. What has it come to if we lose to a club like this ? I despair.

No it's simply a case of wasting a budget

Probably a Sunday league side or a U5s, somewhere - but apart from that, no.

Leyton Orient, Blackpool, Yeovil, Portsmouth have all suffered back to back relegations in recent years

The worst part of all is hoof-ball tactics actually negate what should be - should be - our greatest asset.

Being one of the bigger clubs with one of the bigger budgets at this level.

That in turn should've - should've - resulted in better players playing better football.

Well, that's the theory, anyway. Guess we'll never find out, now...
Never underestimate the stupidity of people
