From the DT, MA quoted last night:

May or may not be anything to do with the takeover bid... if you've an offer from a league club it'd make it a tough decision to sign for us.

It was covered in the Gloucestershire media that he had turned down Cheltenham to sign for us(last week )

Shysters and chancers who don't like being exposed on 'BB', perhaps.

D'y'honestly think anyone at the Club did the kinda vetting that our members do?

But don't get the bunting out just yet, though - it looks like this latest fiasco cost the Manager a player and we can only guess how that'll impact going forward.

Meanwhile it seems someone out there is as keen to get hold of Town as the owner is to sell. And neither appears too fussy who else's involved in that takeover...

I wonder if the chuckle brothers have come to the conclusion that "we" know exactly what they were thinking and acknowledged to eachother that they'd been rumbled?
