Martin Allen said its a serious friendly. Former team mates will be there but up in the lounges for the launch of the former players association which is being combined with the testimonial.

The latest list of players set to attend the Tommy Lee Testimonial Match on Wednesday 25 July (KO 7pm) and there are just a handful of places left in the Brampton Brewery Lounge to mix with these ex-Spireites, the biggest such gathering ever at The Proact. The 132 page story of Tommy's life & career in his own words, plus plenty of contributions from others and many previously unpublished photographs will be launched, with Tommy in attendance to sign copies, at the Hub Cafe in the East Stand at The Proact Stadium, next to Chester's Den, between 5pm and 8pm on Friday 20th July. The cost is just £10 (cash only, no card facilities). Don't forget your match ticket for the Chesterfield v Wigan Athletic XI match on Wednesday 25th July KO 7pm, available via the club website. Thanks to PDM Limited for their generosity in enabling the brochure to be available on the scale it is. It will be available subsequently, but this is a chance to buy it from the man himself!!
