This has disaster written all over it. Look at the teams he's been at, why does he leave after a short time and end up at Barnet before getting sacked again?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

There's another school of thought, that a short-term rocket up the club's bottom is exactly whats's needed.

Do I remember reading somewhere that he only signs short-term contracts anyway?
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

On the contrary... He's had successful spells at other clubs... Don't think this is disaster material.

One thing is for sure... If Evo was thinking about upsetting the apple cart and causing disruption for the new gaffer, he'll think twice if Allen takes the reins.

Phil.... We're on the exact same wavelength.

Most chairmen at clubs he's been at don't like the strict training regime he brings.
Well thats what ive been told.barnet went down with a fight when allen took over.
Still think its a disaster?

It would be a clever move, we’d have to stop shouting Allen Out.

Out of curiosity, who would we realistically be able to appoint that would excite you?

Carson said he/they would narrow it down to 3,
Then Dave Allen will have the final say..

Has Dave Allen just said “hurry, get Martin” ??
Have more candidates been interviewd?
The words coming from Carson was it would take it into next week before a manager was appointed, it’s all gone at a extremely fast pace if we do appoint a manager today

This club needs someone like Allen, a disciplinarian. Someone to grab this sorry club by the scruff of it's neck and say 'no more excuses'. For too long we've had to watch bog standard and below average players half a**e their way through games to pick up a paycheck, happy to be second best every week. Well that needs to end, this losers mentality needs eradicating and he's the type of person who can do that

I agree but if he comes, how long before Allen realises the true nature of the regime he's signed up to work under?

This could be the story a couple of months into the season (though I hope not):

These go to eleven.
