The more & more you read things about Martin Allen, the more you think he would be ideal to kick the footballing side into shape at CFC
I’d be happy if we tried for him...one good thing, there is no compensation to try & get him

Starting to think the same, according to the Barnet message board when they took the lead the ball boys disappeared presumably to waste every single second, little things like this point to a manager who leaves no stone unturned, something we have been sadly lacking.

 We should have had him years ago.Did a great job at Brentford years ago, keeping them afloat, and laid the foundation for them to kick on to the Championship.A legend at Barnet and if they have any ambition they'll hang on to him.
Many a good tune

So we're not even competing with Barnet now how low we've been falling

Barnet is like Barcelona compared to our Alfreton Town when it comes to set up

If the setups that good and they have a decent budget then how come theyre still playing us next season? Shouldnt they be doing an accrington?

McGhee and Westley are probably the main reasons.
These go to eleven.

Thanks Phil....

Really hope this means he's on his way here... It was widely reported he wanted the job before Jack got the gig... I doubt National League will have changed his mind if that's the case.

I truly believe if anyone can sort out the shambles that is the playing side of CFC, then MA is the perfect man to do that.

Hopefully he's motoring up the M1 on a mission to return a football league to the promised land.
