If D.A is going to get back involved then i would see Sheridan as the favourite to be manager.

And if D.A does get back involved i sincerely hope he eats some humble pie, apologises for ALL the mistakes made, and tries to everyone back together.
Far too much infighting between everyone, and yes for the right reasons it has , but if he admits the mistakes lets come together.
D.A though has to make the first move on this , and not the suffering supporters

Do you seriously think DA will apologise for anything ?

Allen? Apologise? Yeah, sure; and then he'd ride into the stadium atop a unicorn with rainbows emerging from his every orifice...
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Chris

Let’s say he has a bang to the head and does the unthinkable and apologises, where do you stand then?

Trying to put perspective on the thought of Nicky Law becoming our next manager.

Why would he leave a secure job with a premier league club to manage a non league team with no money!!

Unfortunately we are not in a good bargaining position for a new manager as we are a team in non league and on a decline with an inherited overpaid squad of poor players with no funds to strengthen the team

Maybe it's just that management bug. Once a manager always a manager.
Maybe he sees it as an opportunity to build up a club from non league to the championship by signing loads of youth and turning them into players.
Maybe it's that he's seen loads of players that haven't been picked by Burnley and he sees them as the players that he can bring here and turn the whole clubs fortunes around making him a hero of the town?
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

If Law comes in and fills the squad with young lads that Burnley haven't picked up, we're buggered, unless he signs enough proven, experienced, strong pros to go with them, which I'm guessing he would try to do.
These go to eleven.

His wage will be full of insentives making him financially better off. On the other hand how long will he be in employment.
God I hate this league.

Its going to be Nicky or Kevin, local lads an old Town Players, yeah yeah we have heard and seen it all before, but the next manager has to give the good ole Rally cry to the fans, bums on seats etc, for those reasons cannot see it not being one or the other.

One of the favourites for the role then is a manager whose last few seasons read::-
2011-12 15th Football Conference
2012-13 13th Football Conference
2013-14 11th Football Conference
2014-15 Relegated from Football Conference
2015-16 10th National League North
2016-17 (left January 2017) 18th National League North

Yes, but with a tiny club which relied entirely on their backer's pockets and goodwill.
These go to eleven.

Aren’t the majority of clubs down there tiny? As are Accrington and look at them.

Not as small as Alfreton. They were about as big as Belper when Bradley took over, unless I'm mistaken?
These go to eleven.
